Spanish Primera Liga Highlights - Levante vs Real Madrid

Here are some highlights of the Spanish Primera Liga match between Levante and Real Madrid. Real as always rode their luck during the game before slowly forcing their authority and in the end comfortably walked away with the points after top scorer Ruud Van Nistelrooy scored twice, once from a penalty, the other a long range stunner, to put the Spanish league leaders 7 points clear at the top. Barcelona trails a close second behind after their 4-0 thumping of Real Murcia at the Nou Camp on Saturday.

If you noticed from the highlight reels between Levante and Real Madrid, you would have noticed as well that Baptista had a hand in many chances. A pity the player is no longer plying his trade in the English Premier League with Arsenal as it would have been a joy to watch had he settled down and fitted into the Gunners' set up. Baptista is a decent player and a strong one to boot, unfortunately Arsene Wenger could not get the best out of him in England.

It looks like Real Madrid is walking away with the title unless Barcelona can make a sustained charge but given the inconsistency shown by the Catalan side and in particular the continued loss of form from star playmaker Ronaldinho, that would seem a long shot by any means. Of course, Real Madrid could suffer a loss in form too at any point in time during the season, but given how their other challengers like Valencia and Seville aren't doing much either, it might not be surprising if they ended up winning the title by a huge margin. We shall see.
