Suddenly, this live commentary English Premier League match between Derby and Arsenal has taken on title challenge proportions not from the home side but from the fact that there is still a small possibility that Arsenal will be able to win the league, due to Saturday's result between Chelsea and Manchester United. Of course, it will take a miracle for them to really win it as they need their two rivals to actually lose all their remaining games and that is about as likely to happen as Liverpool winning the English Premier League title ever again under Rafael Benitez with Neil Warnock's curse and also the thousands of blinded Liverpool fans who think they should stick by Gillett and Parry who obviously were the ones who wanted to flog the club to other buyers and wanted to get rid of Benitez in the first place. While there is no such problems at Arsenal yet, they do indeed have to relook at Wenger's ability to inspire his team as he has failed to do so for three seasons straight and has become so desperate now that he might consider bringing Thierry "The Pout" Henry back to the club and featuring in games like this live commentary and online TV EPL game between Derby and Arsenal at Pride Park since he will get to play in his best position at a club where he is -the- star instead of being at a place like Barcelona where he needs to share the limelight with other players.
The home side is not much better for this live commentary and live streaming radio telecast English Premier League match between Derby and Arsenal as they have been horrible throughout the season and still harbouring hopes of being worse than Sunderland of many seasons ago. In truth, eleven points is just about right for their effort and while I do not doubt their efforts and hard work and desire, they simply are not good enough for the EPL and there is nothing wrong about them going down except for their poor fans who have had to endure a season like that but credit to them they have stuck to their team and deserve to be labelled the best set of fans in the whole league and miles better than those fairweather Manchester United fans who were nowhere to be seen when they were struggling before Alex Ferguson started tapping up players left right center from other clubs. Well, they now have three more live soccer games in which to catch their team in the top flight just like this live commentary and live streaming TV broadcast soccer match between Derby and Arsenal and if they buy better players the next time they are promoted perhaps they might have more live games to watch than just the 38 in one season.

8/4/2008 UEFA Champions League Live - Liverpool vs Arsenal
Can Arsenal overcome an away goal disadvantage and a hostile Anfield crowd to make it through to the semi finals against huge odds in this live commentary and radio broadcast UEFA Champions League match between Liverpool and Arsenal, or will Liverpool ride the home support and once again show themselves to be the European force that they are, even if they fail time and again in the English Premier League to compete with the best? There are so many questions in the air over this tie as the tension and expectations are heavy with it being the clash of the round and the two teams have so much at stake, with their seasons on the line. After such a bright start to the league campaign and delighting football fans all around the world with their exquisite attacking football, Arsenal now stare at down the barrel of a gun with nothing to show for all their efforts this season if they were to lose this live commentary and TV telecast UEFA Champions League game between them and Liverpool at Anfield and be eliminated from the competition. They might still be in with a shout for the league title, but it is really Manchester United's to lose and that would be unlikely to happen.
However, Liverpool as a team has much more to lose in this live commentary and streaming radio telecast Champions League tie between them and Arsenal, as they have zero chance in the league, and have once again flattered to deceive with all their pre season hype and promises. Their only hope of a trophy this season lies in this tournament, and while they might get past this round, it is difficult to see them lifting it unless another miracle comes along like it did a couple of years ago when Steven Gerrard inspired a comeback and the Anfield boys created history. Looking ahead, if they advance to the finals and meet Manchester United, given their recent record against the Red Devils, it is hard to see anything other than another thrashing at the hands of their deadly rivals. At the moment it is hardly even a rivalry, as they get beat time and again by Ferguson's men, due in part to the subliminal inferiority complex they seem to have when taking to field against them, defending instead of going at their throats. It appears to be different against Arsenal now as they have gained confidence from the two draws at the Emirates Stadium, and also because they believe they own the European competition. So this live commentary and live streaming TV broadcast Champions League match between Liverpool and Arsenal might see a win for the home team, but whether they will go on to win it is unlikely, unless they meet a team other than Manchester United.

5/4/2008 English Premier League Live - Arsenal vs Liverpool
Pretty soon we will all be sick of seeing these two sides playing each other but before that happens, this live commentary and radio broadcast English Premier League match between Arsenal and Liverpool will once again take centre stage in the English game as it is the second in the three game series the clubs will play over a period of a week. The Reds escaped with a draw in midweek in the Champions League when they were absolutely torn apart on occasions by Arsene Wenger's young team and were lucky not to have conceded a penalty and the conspiracy rumours have quickly started flying as soon as news of the referee and Dirk Kuyt having known each other due to being from the same town spread to journalists and fans alike. Dirk Kuyt was the Liverpool player involved in the contentious penalty incident and it is now implied that there might have been some subliminal favourtism shown there towards the player in a decision but that is really utter bollocks if you ask me.
Arsene Wenger will definitely use the incident and perceived injustice to gee up his players for this live commentary and TV telecast English Premier League soccer match between Arsenal and Liverpool. The game is still important to both sides as Arsenal are still in with a chance of the EPL title although they must ensure that they win every single game in the hope that Manchester United somehow drops points in the run up. Unlikely, but still possible. Liverpool can reinforce their grip on fourth if they win again and the chasing pack falter, but they must first concentrate on their own results. Getting a point at the Emirates Stadium is never easy, and Arsenal have had Liverpool's number of late, and you always wonder how Benitez will prioritise the club's objectives, so it really depends on what kind of team they take to the field with. Mascherano will definitely be out of this live commentary and live streaming radio broadcast soccer game between Arsenal and Liverpool after having his ban extended by two matches following the crazy sending off he got at Old Trafford. It will be interesting to see if Lucas Leiva will replace him again in the league and how he performs against the ball players of Arsenal. Steven Gerrard might have to take over some of the responsibilities of breaking up play and that might affect the link up play between him and Torres. And it also remains to be seen if Torres will play any part in this live commentary and live TV telecast English Premier League soccer game between Arsenal and Liverpool, or if he will be rest for the Champions League. You never know with any match Liverpool is involved in.

29/3/2008 English Premier League - Bolton Wanderers vs Arsenal
With internal turmoil reportedly tearing the dressing room apart, can the young Gunners rise above it all in this live online broadcast commentary soccer match between Bolton Wanderers and Arsenal and breathe new life into their title chase? Can Arsene Wenger rally his players to ignore their differences and rubbish the media reports as they rebuild their title ambitions and push Manchester United and Chelsea all the way to the end? There is suspicion that many of the media are trying to disrupt the team harmony by twisting players' words but the lukewarm response the Gunners have towards their captain William Gallas have not helped to quell the rumours, and it is hard to ignore a thirty year old man not behaving in the most professional manner on the field and with his past record of being belligerent, it might not be hard to believe that there might be some truth behind the rumours. However, after playing so well the whole season and with a crucial Champions League quarterfinal on the horizon, Wenger has to quickly bring his troops together to play for a common cause and start believing in each other again, or risk seeing their season fall into ruins.
Bolton themselves are falling fast into oblivion unless they can pick themselves up for this live online broadcast commentary and live TV English Premier League match between Bolton Wanderers and Arsenal, and they will not be expecting any favours from a title chasing side even if this will be at Reebok Stadium where they are strong under normal circumstances but have strangely fallen off the form that they had displayed in the early part of this year. Perhaps the European campaign was a distraction but Gary Megson had often played his second stringers in those matches and rested the first team players. The dangerous scenario of other relegation rivals picking up precious points recently have also sunk Bolton deeper into trouble and it would not be a surprise if they do end up in the English League Championship next season unless they get together and work harder and have less of the player dissent in this live online broadcast commentary and live TV soccer match between Bolton Wanderers and Arsenal, which unfortunately overshadowed their previous game when the attention should have been on a hard earned point but wasted two points in their bid to avoid relegation.

23/3/2008 English Premier League - Chelsea vs Arsenal
Unlike their first encounter this season at the Emirates Stadium, this time it will be Arsenal needing the points desperately in this live online radio commentary and live match between Chelsea and Arsenal, with the young Gunners team struggling for months now and without a solution in sight. Arsene Wenger has watched forlornly at the sidelines for the most part in the league, without an idea of how to stop the rot and get his charges playing the confident smooth flowing football again which had earlier seen them storm to the top of the table before finally succumbing to injuries and loss of form. The likes of Cesc Fabregas and Emmanuel Adebayour have not pulled their weight and if you just play well in one game in the Champions League it does not mean you will turn on the magic easily again in the league if you do not try hard enough. The Gunners will need to work their socks off against a strong Chelsea team in this live TV match between Chelsea and Arsenal and try to get their title run back on track after a disastrous run.
Chelsea was involved in a hilarious topsy turvy match in midweek against Spurs and while it provided much entertainment to fans, this live online radio commentary and live TV match between Chelsea and Arsenal will be no laughing matter if they hope to really emerge from the shadows and challenge Arsenal and Manchester United for the title. The players were dreadful against a Spurs side that had nothing left to play for in the season, and defended like amateurs as they allowed the White Hart Lane team to pull back time and again after going in front twice. Avram Grant will have to dust this disappointing result off his back again and show that he has what it takes to make Chelsea huge again in this live online radio commentary and live TV soccer match in the English Premier League between Chelsea and Arsenal at Stamford Bridge, or risk the wrath of owner Roman Abramovich who will not hesitate to ask the Israeli to leave because at the end of the day it is results that managers are judged on, no matter how friendly they are with the owners or club management.

15/3/2008 English Premier League - Arsenal vs Middlesbrough
Having dropped tons of points in their recent games, Arsenal will be desperate to get their title challenge back on track against Middlesbrough in this live online commentary English Premier League soccer match featured as the late Saturday game. It has not been that the young Gunners have played badly, in fact for many of the games, they have created their fair share of chances to walk away deserved winners. Unfortunately, their past malaise of not putting the ball in the net when it mattered most has returned to haunt them, and there is a clear lack of confidence whenever they approach the last third of the pitch, even if they continue to create chances, they do not seem to believe they will score. The other problem they continue to face is a lack of concentration at the back and conceding unnecessary goals, but that could be attributed to an unsettled backline with key injuries to Toure. The inconsistency that Senderos has shown has also meant goals being shipped when you least expect it. What cannot be faulted is the mental toughness and resilience that Arsene Wenger has instilled into his young team. They might not be getting the results they prefer, but they are not giving up easily.
Middlesbrough responded in fashion to their FA Cup howler to Cardiff City when they displayed the same sort of resilience that Arsenal has by forcing a draw with Aston Villa, and will be quietly confident of another good result going into this live online commentary and streaming radio broadcast English Premier League soccer match between Arsenal and Middlesbrough. Gareth Southgate had described how his guts were ripped out with the humiliating cup upset and thankfully for him, his players bounced back for a well deserved draw for Boro. In fact, they might have been unlucky not to have left Villa Park with more than just a point. Boro will try to employ the same tactics for this live online commentary and streaming radio telecast soccer match in the English Premier League between Arsenal and Middlesbrough and attempt to stifle Arsenal's midfield while hopefully catching them asleep at the back with the odd goal. They also know that attacking the Gunners might also be the best defence as shown by teams in recent matches.
Can Arsenal stop the rot and get back to winning ways? By the time this live online commentary and streaming radio broadcast English Premier League soccer match kicks off between Arsenal and Middlesbrough, they would probably be staring at the coattails of Manchester United who will play earlier in the day with an easy three points up for grabs against Derby County. Scoring a vital win in this game and putting them back on top will provide some relief and possibly restore the belief mentally in the Arsenal players, something that Wenger would have thought of already and try to achieve. They do face a Boro team that has always made life difficult for the top teams, even if they usually find themselves come unstuck against lower placed opposition, much like how a live online streaming Arsenal vs Portsmouth game will develop. The one factor that might swing it Arsenal's way for this live online commentary and streaming radio telecast soccer match between Arsenal and Middlesbrough could be the simple fact that they play at home at the Emirates Stadium where a beautiful pitch would certainly help their game unlike last week when they came unstuck on Wigan's horrible field.

UEFA Champions League 20/2/2008 - Arsenal vs AC Milan
Brace yourselves now football fans, for the clash of the round in the UEFA Champions League today. It's Arsenal up against AC Milan in this live commentary and play by play soccer match at the Emirates Stadium, where the young and vibrant upstarts from North London aim to put one over the aging aristocrats from Italy AC Milan. Arsene Wenger will once again pit his wits against the very best in the business (even though he easily ranks as the top two club managers ever in the history of the modern game) in his AC Milan counterpart but the real battle will be on the pitch as the world awaits to see if the young Gunners, with all their verve and attacking style, can overcome years of experience and shrewdness in the Italian team, who have done this countless times, especially in the last two years as they continuously depended on a whole host of aging stars, who have just as well continuously defied the laws of nature by soldiering on and excelling despite their aging legs.
All the right noises are coming out of Arsenal ahead of this live commentary and radio broadcast UEFA Champions League soccer match against AC Milan, with Arsene Wenger assuring fans and media alike that his players were really just horsing around in the FA Cup against Manchester United on Sunday and they had long since recovered from both the physical and mental exertions, ready to face the Italian giants who happen to be current Champions League champions. Cesc Fabregas, the no longer precocious Spanish midfielder of Arsenal, has also issued a rallying cry to his teammates ahead of the clash, calling for unity, determination and self belief in toppling their deadly foes in this live commentary and TV telecast soccer match in the UEFA Champions League between Arsenal and AC Milan. Arsenal should have their top striker Adebayour back for this match as he was rested over the weekend, which indicated Arsene Wenger's degree of interest in that competition while Manchester United fans were rubbing their hands in glee.
This match would be a hard call as both teams are actually quite equally matched although with very different abilities as will be seen in this live commentary and radio broadcast UEFA Champions League soccer match between AC Milan and Arsenal. One team is young and fast and with lots of attacking flair, while the other is rather old but with really shrewd footballing brains both on and off the field and no lack of talent and quality in all parts of the field. What might happen though is a lot of goals instead of a cautious game, if Arsenal can manage to lure AC Milan out of their defensive shells as Italian sides will also be Italian sides and look to stifle their opposition at every opportunity. So our expectations are really against the grain and hope to see many goals, with perhaps a narrow victory for Arsenal although it would most likely end in a draw in this live commentary and TV telecast soccer match in the UEFA Champions League between Arsenal and AC Milan.

English FA Cup 16/2/2008 - Manchester United vs Arsenal
This is the English FA Cup live commentary and play by play soccer match that everyone has been waiting for and salivating over - Manchester United against Arsenal at Old Trafford. The talk has been of this game dealing a psychological blow to whichever team that lost, going into the final hurdle of the last few games in the English Premiership. If that were the case, I have to say that Arsenal might have to go home with their tails in between their legs. They are missing a whole boatload of players for this game and that might include Adebayour. If that were to happen, even with their goal scoring midfielders in Fabregas and Hleb, you know they would be busy guarding Rooney and Ronaldo. That leaves Bendtner to play upfront although it might be Wenger's mind games to put Adebayour's availability in doubt for this game.
Koule Toure and Eboue will be back from the African Nations Cup for this live commentary and radio broadcast English FA Cup soccer match between Arsenal and Manchester United and that should help to solidify their backline against Manchester United's pacy strikeforce. However the question is if they can score at Old Trafford, given the solid partnership between Ferdinand and Vidic at the back. They might have to take advantage of any slip ups in concentration from Ferdinand and then defend well against a Ronaldo determined to show that he can perform at the critical matches instead of just being a flat track bully. What most soccer 'experts' and media couch potatoes wanna be soccer managers actually do not realise is that as long as you beat all the mediocre and average teams, losing one or two games against your top opponents will still win you the title. That has happened to Manchester United many times during their title winning seasons and they will show it again in this live commentary and TV telecast English FA Cup soccer match against Arsenal. They do have a good track record against the Big Four, but they have consistently beaten the other sides and that establishes their huge advantage over the rest of the Big Four who regularly struggles against supposedly inferior opponents.
Due to the massive number of key injuries and playing away and Wenger not really too enamoured with the FA Cup, this live commentary and radio broadcast English FA Cup soccer match should see Manchester United roll to a comfortable win over arch rivals Arsenal. With Rooney back in the team, Manchester United will not lose as they have shown this season. Ferguson will also be eager to gain a psychological advantage over Arsenal in this live commentary and TV telecast English FA Cup soccer game and you know what he is playing at since Manchester United have largely been silent prior to this game while the young Gunners have been shooting their mouths off with Fabregas saying they are the better team this season. That should end up on the walls of the Manchester United dressing room before the game.

EPL 11/2/2008 - Arsenal vs Blackburn Rovers
There is much talk about Arsenal having mouting injury problems for this live commentary and play by play English Premier League soccer match between Arsenal and Blackburn Rovers at the Emirates Stadium and how Arsene Wenger is struggling to put up a full team and that he might have to ask Koulo Toure to play 2 games in 3 days with a 7 hour flight sandwiched in between. The soccer media are also baying for Arsenal's blood and they smell an upset on the cards as Blackburn Rovers have come close to beating Arsenal twice this season in the EPL and League Cup as they held the North London league leaders to draws in both games after 90 minutes. Arsenal faces a bad defensive crisis as even Philip Senderos is injured and he might have to put in young Justin Hoyte although I see no problem in that since Hoyte has acquitted himself well for the most part whenever he plays, and Gilberto Silva might also have to be drafted in as Hoyte's central defensive partner. But Silva has played there before and done decently well so where the problem is, I do not know.
Much less has been made about Blackburn Rovers own injuries and midfield problems for this live commentary and radio broadcast soccer match in the English Premier League against Arsenal. They are also facing many missing players and their midfield is especially bad as guys like Stephen Reid have relapsed again and are doubtful for this match. Without a midfield, how much can a Blackburn Rovers team cope with Arsenal's still present midfield force of Cesc Fabregas and Flamini? There has also been much attention on the return of Arsenal old boy David Bentley as he seeks to put one over his former club with Blackburn Rovers, after being elevated to the England first team and a rising star. Arsene Wenger has been asked if he regrets letting Bentley go but what could he have done at that time as Bentley did not exactly impress enough as yet and he wanted regular first team football so you had to let the lad go to improve and develop his game if he did not want to wait. It worked out well for everyone although in the future if UEFA forces all teams to have a quota of local players, Arsenal might rue letting Bentley go.
However, this live commentary and TV telecast English Premier League game between Arsenal and Blackburn Rovers would be one of the hardest to call as both sides facing injuries and player crisis due to that. The slight edge still belongs to Arsenal not because they are playing at home but because they will be motivated to put more distance between them and Manchester United after the latter flopped badly at home against Manchester City, and also because Arsenal has capable substitutes for the injured and missing players while Blackburn Rovers might struggle with their players out. Therefore, expect a scrappy win for Arsenal over Blackburn Rovers in this live commentary and radio broadcast English Premier League soccer match at the Emirates Stadium and while the season might still be early, the omens are looking good for the young Arsenal team for the EPL title as Manchester United seem to suffer from a temporary lapse in form.

EPL 2/2/2008 - Manchester City vs Arsenal
This exciting live commentary and play by play game between two English Premier League sides Manchester City and Arsenal could see some great attacking soccer being played as one team already has a bright array of attacking talents while the other one who is at home has started to garner a reputation for collecting strikers after adding Jermain Defoe and another young South American to their forward line in an attempt to take advantage of their bright forward play. This is due to their previously impotent forwards which they still have like someone known as Darius Vassell ex England international wow. Maybe Sven could reinvent him into a winger opposite of what happened with Thierry Henry who used to ply his trade for Manchester City's opponents today, Arsenal. Unfortunately if Vassell had half the brain of Henry it might have allowed him to stay with England for much longer than the few games he played under... Sven!
Arsenal on the other hand continue to try to plod on one minute they are brilliant in a live commentary and radio broadcast game against Newcastle, the next minute they are horrible against their bitter North London rivals Spurs. While beating Newcastle is not the best gauge of your abilities, but it helps to boost morale and in this tough battle against Manchester United and Chelsea for the English Premier League title, any win helps. Arsenal's top African beanpole striker Adebayour continues to impress and he seems to be the only one who has not lost any form, other than Frenchman Matthieu Flamini who is a real dynamo and even Arsene Wenger has praised his fellow countryman for having developed assurance on the final ball. While Fabregas and the others have struggled against fluctuating form and fitness, Flamini has proven to be a real water carrier who might become the next Didier Deschamps.
So the expectations are full of flowing beautiful soccer that would make the beautiful game proud to flaunt its stuff on the English Premier League stage in this live commentary and TV telecast game on Saturday between Manchester City and Arsenal. But the question remains as to who would walk away with the points. It might be a share of the spoils, or Arsenal might once again win to keep up the pressure on Manchester United. But it would most probably be the Manchester City Sven's boys squeezing out an upset win in their now own formidable home fortress and consign Arsenal to a morale sapping defeat in this live commentary and radio broadcast soccer match in the English Premier League match between Manchester City and Arsenal.

EPL 29/1/2008 - Arsenal vs Newcastle
In this midweek English Premier League live commentary and play by play soccer match between Arsenal and Newcastle at the Emirates Stadium, it will be the second encounter between the two teams within a matter of days as they played each other over the weekend in the FA Cup, in which Arsenal triumphed and coasted to an easy 3-0 victory with in-form striker Adebayour scoring two goals and setting up another. Kevin Keegan's second coming as the Newcastle messiah looks set to be totally flat as he struggles to cope with a side devoid of quality and with mediocrity the byword as a result of Sam Allardyce's questionable transfer buys. Arsenal are still without many of their key players but whichever team they choose to field tonight, it should still have the main lynchpins of Fabregas and Almunia and they should still not have too many problems with Newcastle.
Newcastle on the other hand are desperate enough to consider playing Joey Barton after being allowed out on bail but even then it hardly looks as if the enfant terrible will make any difference to Kevin Keegan's side in this crucial English Premier League live commentary and radio broadcast soccer match. In fact, it might be a crunch match already for Keegan in just his second EPL match in charge - if Newcastle loses again, the reality will set in and the fans should start to realise however much you wish to watch beautiful attacking soccer, if the team you have is rubbish, you will get rubbish. While some of the blame would have to be laid at Allardyce's feet, much of the fault also goes to the Newcastle regime which have allowed too many mediocre players to be bought and rot in the club. As a result, it would be a good result at the end of the season if Keegan were to bring the team away from relegation troubles. Remember, Kevin Keegan did not do that well at Manchester City anyway.
We expect some more goals in this English Premier League live commentary and radio broadcast soccer match between Arsenal and Newcastle. While a live TV telecast might be in order, the consolation is the thought that Arsenal should romp to another fine victory and apply continued pressure on Manchester United, or face the thought of the Red Devils running away with the English Premier League title again. An Arsenal victory in this live commentary and radio broadcast soccer match no less.

FA Cup 26/1/2008 - Arsenal vs Newcastle
This pulsating live commentary and play by play soccer match in the FA Cup today between two English Premier League clubs Arsenal and Newcastle will be a monumental battle as both teams seek to climb out of disappointment and despair they had dug themselves into. Arsenal look to put their Carling Cup semi final disappointing loss and thrashing to North London rivals Tottenham Hotspur by overwhelming Newcastle and go into the next round of the FA Cup. They also try to put behind scenes of dissention between their own players in particular Adebayour, Bendtner and Gallas by showing a united front and winning the game. The truth is, while Adebayour can be quite an arrogant individual seeing as how he thinks he has replaced Thierry Henry, Bendtner looks like a crazed skinhead himself. The young Danish striker is also said to have an attitude problem and if he thinks he has already made it in soccer, then Arsene Wenger will have no hesitation in getting rid of him, since he obviously prefers African players for their athleticism.
Newcastle themselves hope to ride on their new messiah Kevin Keegan's momentum and achieve what could be a shocker of a result by beating Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium in this live commentary and radio broadcast and TV telecast FA Cup match. It will be a shock because Newcastle are no longer a force in football at the moment and can be categorised as also-rans. Unless Keegan can steady the ship, stop the injuries, and get some decent footballers in, they will continue to be so with or without Keegan's flowing football. Any team that has Nicky Butt and Alan Smith together in a midfield smacks of destructive football and that would normally help to get some results except for the fact that one has faded after initial promises after leaving Manchester United, while the other is nothing but a hooligan who often plays without any brains.
Due to the fact that Kevin Keegan has not gotten any new reinforcements for this live FA Cup commentary game, and that they still struggled in their previous league game last week at home against of all teams Bolton Wanderers, it would be difficult for Newcastle to get any result from this game. The likely outcome is that Arsenal will hardly move out of second gear and score a convincing two or three goal victory. Unless Keegan can inspire his team sufficiently well enough and perhaps get a draw to bring it back home, otherwise they are in danger of getting buried by a young Arsenal team looking to recover from their mid week trauma. Still, you never know if Arsene Wenger will field his best team, so it might be that this FA Cup live commentary and radio broadcast game might give us an upset result as well.

Carling Cup 22/1/2008 - Tottenham Hotspur vs Arsenal
And so these two arch rivals meet again the fourth time in 2 seasons in this Carling Cup competition and also at the same time, all in a live commentary and play by play soccer match between North London derby rivals Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal. The first meeting in this year's Carling Cup was the first leg of this semi final at the Emirates Stadium about two weeks ago, when plucky Spurs did well to lead for most of the game before Arsenal's Theo Walcott snatched a fortuitous equaliser near the end of the game, a goal which bounced off him unknowingly into the net and which frustrated both Spurs manager Juande Ramos and the whole team. Credit to Spurs, they played well enough to have won but instead had to settle for the draw which might help in this return leg at their own ground of White Hart Lane. But what was even more important was that it was the first time in many meetings between the two sides that Spurs was not comprehensively played off the park. Berbatov led the line well, while the defence stood their ground before a stroke of good fortune enabled the Gunners to get away with a result.
Arsenal on the other hand were in the throes of a below average run when they met Spurs in the first leg. Since then, they have slowly climbed out of a rut, strangely also at a time when they have been beset by injury problems and key players missing due to international commitment in the African Nations Cup. Over the weekend, they practically played Fulham off their own ground at Craven Cottage, and was unfortunate not to have scored more than the three goals. This was after manager Arsene Wenger had been furious the week before and berated his team for getting complacent and too big for their boots. The young Gunners team then got down to business and ate humble pie and got their reward when they seemed to play again with flair and determination. They will need more of the same in this crucial live commentary and radio broadcast Carling Cup semi final against their hated North London rival Tottenham Hotspur, as Spurs stand between them and a return date for the Carling Cup finals, which the Gunners reached last season but lost to Chelsea at the last hurdle.
It is foreseen that this Carling Cup semi final second leg soccer match will see a hotly contested and full blooded clash between Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal, and with the live commentary and TV telecast of this first major soccer match of the English soccer calendar, there should be goals aplenty forthcoming. It would be a delightful treat for soccer fans all over the world if it ends up a repeat of last season's meeting at the same stage, when Arsenal came from two goals down to draw 2-2 with Spurs and went through to the final at their expense. With both teams seeming to peak at the right time, you never know what might happen. Will Spurs achieve their first derby win for god knows how many matches, or will the young Arsenal team again have the hoodoo over Spurs and ride to further glory on their coattails, which would break many Spurs fans' hearts that's for sure.

EPL 19/1/2008 - Fulham vs Arsenal
Now this could be a huge huge potential upset tonight in this live commentary and play by play English Premier League (EPL) match between home side Fulham and away team Arsenal. Arsenal has been sputtering to some average results recently, one moment brilliant, the next mediocre. Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger was absolutely livid last weekend when his team only managed to draw Birmingham at home despite almost total dominance and he attributed it to a lack of urgency and a very disappointing complacent attitude. Now could it be a case of the young Gunners starting to get arrogant and forgetting how they got to their lofty position in the first place - through hard work and a sense of belief that they have been disrespected and undermined? They have to continue with that attitude and work hard and not let other teams off the hook otherwise the only team that will win the EPL this season would be Manchester United, and not the brilliant young team with flair and fantasy from the Emirates Stadium.
Arsenal faces a whole host of missing players in this live commentary EPL match today including Robin Van Persie whom Wenger admitted was rushed back too fast. Wenger doesn't usually make too many mistakes but this one might be crucial to the fate of the EPL title. Adebayour continues to shoulder most of the scoring burden as Fabregas and the rest of the midfield look to regain their early season scoring touch. It could also be Van Persie's jinxed mouth where he was boasting and crowing about the team's path to glory this season - sometimes the young Dutch striker's cocksure attitude can get in the way but you cannot deny his scoring ability. If only he was not injured.
Fulham did not get off to a good start under new manager Roy Hodgson but you cannot blame the man too much even though he is a manager who promotes boring and safety first football. He inherited a team that is not far from being your next Championship side but you never know what the return of Jimmy Bullard might bring. The guy is your livewire in midfield, not that skilful like other EPL visionaries but certainly a strong enforcer and players you need to have to ensure scrapping to survival each season in the EPL. We can only see if they can cause an upset at home in Craven Cottage against Arsenal in this live commentary and play by play game, although I anticipate Arsenal just scrapping to a one goal win and we should see some goals tonight and over the total.

EPL 12/1/2008 - Arsenal vs Birmingham
Now with the potential upset this game might bring, a live commentary or radio telecast might do a whole lot of good for fans of both Arsenal and Birmingham looking forward to the game. Arsenal are facing a whole host of injuries, especially after the Carling Cup semi final with Spurs, and could go into this English Premier League (EPL) game with another six players missing. Of course, out of this six includes the three who would be AWOL due to the African Nations Cup and that includes defensive lynchpin Koulo Toure. One of them, Eboue, won't be missed much as he is practically useless, but it is the three additional Arsenal players that might be on the sick list after the Carling Cup semi final that have struck a blow to Arsene Wenger's title hopes.
Those three players are Robbie Van Persie, Senderos and Djourou. Now Van Persie would be sorely missed no doubt, but you might wonder why the clumsy Senderos and outsider Djourou would be as well. In case you haven't figured out, Arsenal have a shortage of defenders with this scenario. While Senderos isn't really that good, with Toure gone, you need someone to play next to Gallas right? Now Djourou might have been an able replacement for Eboue but he might be out too. So what's left? Who knows. But do not be surprised if during the live commentary, that Gilberto's name be announced as the central defensive partner for Gallas. You might choke next to the live radio telecast, right? What? You're saying he's injured too? Holy moly who would've thought that?
So it remains to be seen what might happen. Will we have Arsenal missing half their first team and lose in an amazing upset to Birmingham? Or will Birmingham remain a sitting duck despite the Gunners' loss? Having seen how Arsenal's second-stringers regularly beat up on other supposedly stronger teams in the Cups, I wouldn't see anything past an Arsenal win against a Birmingham side back struggling despite new manager Alex McLeish's bright start. After all, McLeish is looking to buy a Watford striker for what? FOUR AND A HALF MILLION POUNDS. Ok, tune in to the live commentary of Arsenal vs Birmingham to find out what happens to both teams.

Carling Cup 9/1/2008 - Arsenal vs Tottenham Hotspur - Highlights
Well the live commentary and telecast of the Carling Cup semi final between Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur was amazing. Now for the soccer highlights. It is always a pleasure watching the hot-blooded passion on show by the two sets of fans and you rarely get any trouble. I guess Arsenal fans must really be the most peace loving lot ever. It's quite understandable when your team is named after someone's butt.
And perhaps being called names gives you the benefit of the doubt when it comes to Lady Luck. Strangely Arsenal could not score against a team like Spurs but maybe it's due to someone missing between the sticks for Spurs. Ramos must have made the right choice but if I were a Spurs fan I would be worried that our manager might allow himself to be held ransom by an obvious prima donna of a player in Berbatov. News reports have surfaced that Berbatov has demanded that players like Darren Bent, Defoe and Robinson be gotten rid of because he feels they are not good enough to play with him. Oh and guess what? Ramos decided to relent and is following orders from the star player. He might have to buy a totally new team but which established quality player would want to come to Spurs?
At the end of the day it had to come to a lucky goal for Arsenal to force a draw. It arrived when Walcott contrived to let the ball bounce off him into the goal. It showed how much of a future England has in its youth. He came up trumps when required and Fabio Capello should keep an eye on this speedy youngster. A real gem and diamond in the making. Maybe he could now become a sponsor for Soccer Rag soccer balls.
Ok, it seems like the Carling Cup highlights for Arsenal vs Spurs have not been released but why not feast your eyes on a much better game. Same game actually, just different stadium and year. More goals as well. Feast your eyes on these Carling Cup highlights:
Actual highlights to follow soon when the reels come in. Stay tuned.

Carling Cup 9/1/2008 - Arsenal vs Tottenham Hotspur
As if a live football commentary wasn't enough, there will definitely be a live telecast of the Carling Cup semi final between Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur. This will be a great commentary and live football match as it represents the fierce North London derby between two traditional rivals that go at each other's throats whenever they meet. And it would represent a curious look at what each team has to offer.
Arsenal will once again start Eduardo the red hot Brazilian (oh wait he's Croatian now) who can't stop scoring right now. All the pre-match talk has centred on Eduardo but everyone should start looking at what team Arsene Wenger intends to field. He has said again it would be a young team. Yes, but his first team is young too. Then again, his Arsenal reserve team doesn't seem too different from the first. Still, key defender Toure will be missing and in his place you have the bumbling Philip Senderos who is surprising many by being still at Highbury. Well, I guess Wenger isn't perfect - can't find a cheaper and better alternative in the transfer market. It could be William Gallas who might be fielded in partnership with Senderos. Who knows really?
Spurs is just waiting to self-destruct once more. Ramos doesn't know what transfers are taking place. He doesn't even know who he (or the club) is buying. Berbatov wants to go but lies to the Spurs fans and public about how much he loves Spurs and would not stay. England star Jermaine Defoe is now surplus to requirements (and he used to be a Manchester United target) and refuses to leave. Why should he? He could just stay there and juggle balls (or balloons) with Danielle Lloyd. And Paul Robinson looks back to his error-ridden ways after an Indian summer during Ramos' early reign. Can you just imagine the shame and humiliation these players must be facing right now when the commentators on the live football commentary start making remarks?
One team can't defend. Another has missing key defenders. One team has great attacking flair. Wait, actually that's both teams. I'm sure you can see where this is headed. Plentiful goals that's where. And you simply have to salivate with the live commentary and telecast that's just waiting to burst out your TV screen. I don't have HD, but you guys who do, god am I jealous. Somehow, I still miss the live radio of football matches in the past on BBC. They still have it, but I rarely get the time to catch the games and watching live sports on TV is simply too convenient instead of plastering your ears to the radio. Visuals make a whole lot of difference although to be honest, live football radio catches the atmosphere way better. Trust me, try it out yourself.

EPL 1/1/2008 - Arsenal vs West Ham
There's something about Upton Park that even someone like Alan Curbishley enjoys significant achievements such as consecutive home wins against Manchester United. But this game isn't at Upton Park - it's at the fortress that is the Emirates Stadium, and fueled by oil and aircraft money, Arsenal are the new financial giants of world football and on the field, they look to emulate their success off it.
Add to that the growing list of injuries and doubts that West Ham is compiling and this looks like a shoo-in for easiest over of the season. Arsenal scored four against Everton and most of those came from direct football. Just imagine how many more they could add playing their fantasy football in the comfort of their own home.
It might be a bonus if the lunatic hooligan Lee Bowyer gets the nod. He'd probably lose it when Fabregas and co. run rings around him and start going for legs. Another red card later and it would make the Gunners' job so much easier, and our wallets so much fatter.

EPL 29/12/2007 - Everton vs Arsenal - Arsenal Storms Back To Top of English Premier League
With Arsenal beating Everton 4-1 with a storming second half revival, is this the turning point in the race for the English Premier League title? Can Arsenal now build on this gutsy fightback and find renewed self belief to push Manchester United off the throne?
Before that, here are some highlights of the Everton vs Arsenal EPL game:
Honestly, the scoreline flattered Arsenal. Everton really got stuck in and into the Gunners' faces but so did the young Arsene Wenger team. However, Everton is a poor man's team and will always have to depend on defensive solidity against the bigger teams (yes Everton fans - your club no longer deserves to be called a big team). Clinical finishing in front of goal separates the Arsenals and Manchester Uniteds from even the false pretenders Chelsea and Liverpool. And opportunism - witness Adebayour's goal.
That said, with Manchester United and Ronaldo in particular suffering from my famed Soccer Rag jinx, the tide could finally be turning back towards Arsenal and hopefully, staying there. Manchester United winning the English Premier League is bad for English soccer, because it would mean prima donnas who indulge in sexual scandals continue to rule in football.
There might have been a temporary loss of belief over the holiday period from Fabregas and his street gang, but they have since returned with greater vigour and crunching tackles. Bendtner in particular plays almost like a ruffian but you certainly have to do that to survive getting knocked down by war dogs like the Evertonians.
The next round of EPL games will come thick and fast. The slugfest continues - will Arsenal reclaim the English Premier League throne and become the richest football club in the world by overtaking Manchester United on both counts?

Arsenal Vs Tottenham
I know there are some Arsenal fans reading this blog, this might be a bit late but seeing that they struggled to a tame draw with Portsmouth when everyone else comes away with a win from that place, perhaps it might be good for some post North London derby pictorial pleasure. Enjoy.
