Walter Smith and his team's adventure this season continues in this live commentary UEFA Cup match between Fiorentina and Rangers as they bid to enter their first European final for many years with a second last final effort. It will not be an easy match for the Scottish side even though they have a slight advantage due to having not conceded any goals in the first leg at home. But they will still need to conjure up a goal or two at Fiorentina's ground, which will not be easy considering the huge number of home soccer fans who are well known for their passionate and vocal support of the team, while intimidating many opponents who visit the ground. This might not actually be too much of a problem considering Rangers should be well used to such live soccer match with intense atmospheres especially against Celtic in Old Firm derbies. They will need to keep their concentration high and be focused for this live commentary and online TV soccer game between Fiorentina and Rangers and hope to capitalise on any mistakes from their Italian opponents.
The Viola stand on the brink of a very satisfying and successful season if they can win this live commentary and live streaming radio telecast UEFA Cup match between Fiorentina and Rangers and enter the final, where they will have as good a chance as any team to win it. Their last European trophy was in 1961, when they beat their opponents for today to win it on aggregate. Whether they can repeat the feat will depend on how focused the players are, and they must keep their recent defensive lapses to a minimum and stop Rangers from launching their quick counter attacks which will be boosted by the return of Ferguson in midfield. They also need to make their chances count, as they will be at a premium against a strong Rangers defence. The missing David Weir from the Rangers defence will be crucial though, as he provides much defensive stability for the team, and this could leave them open for this live commentary and live streaming TV broadcast UEFA Cup match between Fiorentina and Rangers and dash their hopes of a massive four trophy haul this season.

1/5/2008 UEFA Cup Live - Zenit St Petersburg vs Bayern Munich
The UEFA Cup will kick off early with this live commentary match between Zenit St Petersburg and Bayern Munich in the first semi final of the day and with the game on a knife's edge after a pulsating one all draw in the first leg which saw the Russian team come back dramatically off an own goal scored by a defender from the German team. The first game was largely one sided as Bayern Munich dominated at home and should have put the game beyond their opponents but football is a funny game and no sooner were they made favourites to win the UEFA Cup, Bayern Munich is now treading a fine line between an exit and adding another European trophy to their collection. They will be at full strength generally for this live commentary and online TV soccer game between Zenit St Petersburg and Bayern Munich and will welcome back top scorer Luca Toni after he had to sit out the first leg due to suspension.
The Italian striker's return to the lineup for the German side in this live commentary and live streaming radio telecast UEFA Cup match between Zenit St Petersburg and Bayern Munich could not come at a better time for them as his replacements are still not finding any rhythm to score regularly. German strikers like Podolski are still trying to get some sort of form and they will need to improve their game considerably to help their team out tonight. Their Russian opponents will not be fielding their strongest side as well as their hands are forced back due to mass suspension as a result of collecting too many yellow cards in the first leg. They will miss several crucial players in the side but manager Dick Advocaat refuses to use that as an excuse for any poor performances. He claimed that whoever plays will have to be professional about it and give their all in this live commentary and live streaming TV broadcast soccer match between Zenit St Petersburg and Bayern Munich and certainly if they play well to guide the team to the final, they will have the opportunity to play in the final regardless of which key player comes back into the team.

24/4/2008 UEFA Cup Live - Bayern Munich vs Zenit St Petersburg
Bayern Munich will clash with Zenit St Petersburg in this live commentary UEFA Cup soccer semi final where the two teams will play their first leg in Bayern's stadium, roared on by a massive home crowd numbering in the tens of thousands. Bayern are now the big favourites to win the trophy, and it remains to be seen if the German champions are able to handle the pressure and beat all before them to lift the trophy come May. They will have to do it without top scorer Luca Toni in this game, but have enough capable replacements to tide them over this period, as the likes of Podolski and Klose are all capable of coming in and do the job required of scoring a few goals to bury other teams. The home fans will also provide an impetus as they are loud and noisy and very good fans who support their team all the way, and will get on the backs of the Russian players in this live commentary and online TV soccer match between Bayern Munich and Zenit St Petersburg and try to intimidate them into making critical mistakes from which their own team would be able to capitalise on and score.
However, whether things can be so straightforward in this live commentary and live streaming radio telecast UEFA Cup match between Bayern Munich and Zenit St Petersburg will have to be seen as the Russian team is coached by Dutch coach Dick Advocaat who has more than a few tricks up his sleeve and will try to engineer another major shock in the UEFA Cup by beating his German opposition. With enough track record in previous rounds against the likes of Marseille and another German team Bayer Leverkusen, Zenit will be confident of causing more upsets and getting into the record books as it has been ages since a Russian team has reached the finals of a European competition and they might just be the first one to do so in recent memory. Their opponents will be well warned not to underestimate them, as Zenit has good tactical awareness and strength in depth, and will be well drilled and prepared to cause a few problems in this live commentary and live streaming TV broadcast soccer match between Bayern Munich and Zenit St Petersburg, and perhaps allow more soccer fans all across the world to know more about the team instead of being a one season wonder.

24/4/2008 UEFA Cup Live - Rangers vs Fiorentina
Will Scotland's Rangers finally win a European trophy after ages without one by moving one step closer after this live commentary UEFA Cup semi final where Rangers plays Fiorentina from the Italian Serie A in front of a sellout Ibrox home crowd and bring glory and pride to Scotland which has been starved of European glory for so long? Or will they fall at the hands of a cunning but hardworking Fiorentina side that has no lack of talented individuals but have based their success this season on teamwork and discipline? All these and more will be answered by the end of next week but tonight we have the first meeting between the two sides and an exciting match could be in store for all soccer fans. With so much at stake in this live commentary and online TV soccer match between Rangers and Fiorentina, there will be a lot of attention on this game to see if Rangers can finally come out of the shadows of their Old Firm rivals Celtic and reemerge as the force of Scottish football once again or Fiorentina can add polish to their achievements this year and sign off the season with a trophy.
To do that, Rangers will need to overcome their mounting injury problems as their captain Barry Ferguson will definitely miss this live commentary and live streaming radio telecast UEFA Cup game between Rangers and Fiorentina and other key players will also be out due either to suspension or injury. Walter Smith is said to be rightfully worried about his side's chances, although he is confident that the spirit shown by his men in previous rounds and other games this season will be able to help them pull through. But definitely they will need more than that as they will be up against a very good Fiorentina side that has beaten the likes of Everton in a hard graft of a match and also managed to pound PSV Eindhoven into submission on their own turf. Italian sides are also very shrewd and they will have great defensive tactics to stifle Rangers and perhaps that might bring them through in the end. One expects this live commentary and live streaming TV broadcast soccer match between Rangers and Fiorentina to be a very tense one, with both sides not trying to stretch themselves too much, especially the home side who will have to cope with so many missing players and in the end that might be the deciding factor over two legs.

UEFA Cup Quarterfinal Fiorentina vs PSV Eindhoven
By coolly dispatching English Premier League club Everton in the previous round, the Italian side will feel that destiny is on their side in this live online broadcast commentary UEFA Cup quarterfinal match between Fiorentina and PSV Eindhoven and hope to add another big scalp to their feathercap. Cesare Prandelli's side has displayed the kind of play so different from classic Italian teams, and their attacking verve and youthful vigour have surprised many and are big favourites to win it all. They will come up against a strong Dutch team that has experience on this big stage for many years partly due to being so dominant in their own league where the title is usually shared between PSV, Ajax and Feyernood. But Fiorentina have been the same cooker pressure situation for some weeks now, and having stuttered in their attempts to protect their last coveted Champions League qualifying sport within their grasp, they have to stay alert and play to their best abilities again.
The Dutch team are quietly sure of themselves to come out of this live online broadcast radio commentary and live online TV UEFA Cup soccer match between Fiorentina and PSV Eindhoven unscathed and probably a comfortable victory to bring to the return leg at their own home. In fact, they should rely on the European campaigns they enjoy every week and play it smart in order to frustrate Fiorentina and when they arrive at their own ground in Holland, they can put the tie beyond the Italian side. This will likely be a very close contest and this live online radio commentary and live online TV UEFA Cup quarterfinal match between Fiorentina and PSV Eindhoven could swing the pendulum both ways although in such situations, the Italians definitely not giving up after reaching this far in the competition. A fascinating match indeed with a team being well versed in the European way, with the other enjoying a resurgent form.

UEFA Cup Quarterfinal - Glasgow Rangers vs Sporting Lisbon
Could this be the year that Glasgow Rangers finally wins a European trophy after years of drought? Or could this live online broadcast commentary UEFA Cup quarterfinal match between Glasgow Rangers and Sporting Lisbon be the tie that finally ends the Scottish team's involvement in Europe? Walter Smith has much belief in his side and is convinced that if they can maintain their strong defensive displays from previous rounds and dig deep for that extra 50 per cent, they have as much chance as any other team in the tournament to lift the trophy up high. The Light Blues certainly have the players to do so, and they must have more faith in their abilities. With their fans behind them at Ibrox, things can get very intimidating for their opponents and certainly the atmosphere will once again be blazing hot for the Portuguese tonight as Rangers are determined to do better with each game.
There is not much to the away team in this live online radio broadcast commentary and live online TV UEFA Cup quarterfinal game between Glasgow Rangers and Sporting Lisbon as they have not been performing at home. Falling behind leaders Porto by 20 points certainly does not reflect well on the team, although manager Bento has displayed quiet confidence that his team will not shirk from the challenge and are likely to pull off a huge win. Portuguese teams are definitely very skilful with players such as Luis Figo and now Ronaldo having graced the world and European stage with their abilities. With so much at stake in this live online broadcast radio commentary and live online TV UEFA Cup soccer match between Glasgow Rangers and Sporting Lisbon, and with the Portuguese team wanting to do well in this competition to make up for their domestic nightmare, we might be in for an interesting match and 90 minutes of nervousness for both teams.

UEFA Cup Quarterfinal Bayern Munich vs Getafe
The current German champions square up against one of the most exciting Spanish teams currently in this live online broadcast commentary UEFA Cup quarterfinal match between Bayern Munich and Getafe as reputation and power look to dominate team effort, speed and tenacity. Those are the qualities that both teams embue specifically, and many wonder if Michael Laudrup's team can continue to collect amazing results in Europe and at home. They are hardworking, yet can mix finesse with skill, and have continued to do well this season despite previous manager Bernd Schuster having left for Real Madrid. Laudrup has instilled some of his own qualities from his playing days into the squad, and they have shocked a number of teams this season including champions Real Madrid. But are they strong enough to go up against a traditional powerhouse such as Bayern Munich?
The German side seems to be coasting to their domestic title again this season, and might be able to afford to concentrate for this live online broadcast radio commentary and live online TV UEFA Cup quarterfinal match between Bayern Munich and Getafe, and have a squad that is almost free of all injuries and suspensions. On the European front, Bayern's strikeforce have all performed well and manager Hitzfield has a nice headache to deal with today with regards to which strikers to choose to pair upfront against Getafe. They will hope to avoid the same limp showing against Anderlecht in the previous round although they had the tie sewn up by the first leg so the motivation could have been reduced by the time they had to play the Belgium side again. However, if they could repeat the form they displayed against Anderlecht in this live online broadcast radio commentary and live online TV UEFA Cup match between Bayern Munich and Getafe, then they could possibly become the overwhelming favourites for the trophy.

UEFA Cup Quarterfinal Bayer Leverkusen vs Zenit St Petersburg
An interesting live online broadcast commentary UEFA Cup quarterfinal match between Bayer Leverkusen and Zenit St Petersburg awaits us today in the first match of the day in this tournament. German team Bayer Leverkusen is preparing for this game at their home ground of the BayArena and are quietly confident of achieving a strong win in order to bring an advantage to the second leg next week against the Russian team. They know that the weather conditions in the second leg will be tricky and difficult, and whatever lead they feel is adequate, they need to achieve it tonight to have a larger cushion to bring over with them. However, Leverkusen does not bring the best form with them into tonight's game, having suffered two losses in the Bundesliga recently which has set them back badly in the title race, with many already discounting the side who is lagging behind the champions Bayern Munich by 10 points.
Zenit St Petersburg looks for a repeat of history as they look for more miracles in this live online broadcast radio commentary and live online TV UEFA Cup quarterfinal match between Bayer Leverkusen and Zenit St Petersburg, knowing that another win in this round will bring them to a great achievement for Russian teams where they have usually suffered in Europe recently. With improbably victories in previous rounds such as the come from behind amazing result against Marseille in the last 16 round, Zenit players know that they are more than capable of going up against the best in Europe and will be banking on their technical competency and lightning speed to cause some problems for the home team. They will also need to be on their guard in this live online broadcast radio commentary and live online TV UEFA Cup away game between Bayer Leverkusen and Zenit St Petersburg as they will try not to concede too many goals which would put the tie too far beyond them going into the return home leg.

13/3/2008 - Sporting Lisbon vs Bolton UEFA Cup 2nd Leg
It is now obvious that Bolton boss Gary Megson has no intention of spending too much time on this live online commentary UEFA Cup second leg tie between Sporting Lisbon and his Bolton team with a relegation six pointer on Sunday against Wigan. The priority has to be given to the league as Bolton would have to endure less financial security and revenue if Bolton were ever to lose its top flight status. Megson has stated that chasing European success would be great if the club were in a more comfortable position at home, but given the huge potential losses of EPL money were Bolton to be relegated, it would hurt the club in the long term. To illustrate his point, Megson has decided to leave 12 of his first team players at home. This basically means that Bolton will be fielding a second string team against Sporting Lisbon tonight, which usually leads people to believe that they will not have a chance of getting through the rest of the tie.
However, analysing Bolton's performances in the previous rounds of the UEFA Cup would lead one to realise that some of their better results had been earned in similar circumstances such as the one they have walked into for this live online commentary match against Sporting Lisbon. If Sporting Lisbon coach Paulo Bento were to think this game would be a walkover after seeing the lineup, he would be well advised to think twice and have a look at Bolton's matches against Bayern Munich, Red Star Belgrade and Atletico Madrid, where they fielded decidedly weakened teams and still returned home with surprising results. This can happen if you consider that the second stringers would normally not get to play in the English Premier League and would seize the chance in Europe to shine. Not only does it put you in the reckoning for the subsequent games in the season, you can also raise your own stock in the transfer market if required. But how long this positive spin can continue for Bolton remains to be seen, and they would have to be at their very best again for this live online commentary UEFA Cup match against Sporting Lisbon in Portugal in order to have any hope to progressing further.

13/3/2008 - Werder Bremen vs Rangers 2nd Leg UEFA Cup
Rangers will be in good spirits for this live online commentary UEFA Cup 2nd leg match against Werder Bremen after shocking revelations of a bust up between two key players of the German team. Diego and Aaron Hunt had a fisticuff just moments after the first leg in their dressing room over unspecified events, leaving both players handed huge fines by the club. The issue did not end there as Hunt came out to reveal what had developed and sounded his displeasure at being slapped with the same punishment for being less culpable compared to his Brazilian teammate, who allegedly punched Hunt in the back and assaulted the striker. Diego has since then categorically denied these allegations and did not speak more about it. However, this growing unrest and animosity within the club would not be good news for Werder Bremen fans as judging from Wednesday's results, making up a 2-0 loss from the first leg is incredibly doable, especially for a team with Werder Bremen's attacking talent and home ground advantage.
While the incident would have given Rangers some boost, they would refuse to believe that Werder Bremen will be an easy picking for this live online commentary UEFA Cup 2nd leg match. What Walter Smith's men will concentrate on for this game would be their own game and strengths, with a European defensive solidarity and also growing tactical maturity developed over two seasons of growing stability in the Old Firm club. Some additional news ahead of the game might boost their morale further, with the Celtic draw with Dundee United handing them an increasing advantage in their race for the Scottish Premier League title. Rangers also go into this live online commentary UEFA Cup match against Werder Bremen with no fresh injury concerns other than Daniel Cousin with a broken jaw suffered in the first leg, and a healthy two goal lead to protect. While Celtic unfortunately left the European scene for this season last week, Rangers will attempt to remain the sole Scottish representative after tonight.

12/3/2008 - PSV Eindhoven vs Tottenham Hotspur 2nd Leg UEFA Cup
Juande Ramos has more than winning the UEFA Cup on his mind when Tottenham Hotspur faces off with PSV Eindhoven in this live online commentary match in this second leg meeting between the two sides, as he hopes to find out even more what his team lacks in order to progress to the next level of challenging more consistently at home for honours, and not rely solely on cup competitions for glory. Ironically, Ramos has molded his managerial career and reputation from a series of Cup success although when he left Sevilla, they had a short history of challenging for the Spanish Primera Liga title with Real Madrid and Barcelona. Ramos has since moved to England with Spurs and is determined not to be labelled a one trick pony and has dealt a largely ruthless hand on a squad which he deemed unfit and indisciplined when he arrived. After months of culling and sweeping the broom, a more tactically sound and fitter Spurs team has since left Chelsea trailing in its wake on the way to winning the Carling Cup, but let themselves down severely by losing the first leg of this UEFA Cup meeting with PSV at White Hart Lane.
PSV Eindhoven more than held their own in the first leg and will be confident of finishing the task at hand in this live online commentary UEFA Cup match between them and Tottenham Hotspur. One player who stood out was Farfan who tormented Spurs all night and added insult to injury by scoring the decisive winner. With an away goal in the bag, PSV can make certain of progress to the next round by adding at least one more goal to their tally in this game given their defensive strength. However, Spurs are nothing if not unpredictable despite having seen more stability under Ramos. If they were to score one goal at PSV, it might start to send the shivers down PSV's spine as they know that were Tottenham to win the game by a single goal, they would be in prime position to snatch the tie away from them. What PSV needs to do is to put Tottenham under consistent pressure as the London team's defence is not perfect and has been known to still crack under pressure despite Ramos' best efforts in shoring up the backline since his arrival. In fact, this live online commentary game might have a different result than that of the first leg in terms of the number of goals, which would be a treat for football fans.

12/3/2008 - Everton vs Fiorentina 2nd Leg UEFA Cup
Can Everton pull off a great reverse and replicate Merseyside neighbours Liverpool's European achievement from yesterday and show another Italian side the door in this live online commentary UEFA Cup second leg tie at Goodison Park? Or will it be a repeat of their tame showing against Chelsea in their other big match this season during the Carling Cup semi final? David Moyes has fashioned a side with a perfect mix of grit and determination, and no little flair at times, but despite having developed consistency against teams of poor and average quality, Everton has unfortunately not shown better form against higher quality teams so far this season. This might be about to change against Fiorentina tonight in the UEFA Cup, if they can manage to remove the bitter memory of their Carling Cup loss to Chelsea in which they failed to turn up miserably and most importantly, let themselves down. It was the same feeling Moyes and the players felt after the first leg loss to Fiorentina, when they hardly had a look in, with Moyes himself admitting that the team once again played poorly when the occasion required the opposite.
Everton will face a Fiorentina side that might be smarting from a weekend league defeat which threw the race for Champions League places in the Italian Serie A wide open but must now concentrate on finishing the task at hand in this live online commentary UEFA Cup match between Everton and Fiorentina. If the Italian side maintain their same approach from the first leg and apply it to this game, they have more than a good chance of pulling through, given the need for Everton to go all out to make up the aggregate deficit. The game will be pretty much game over if Fiorentina scores a goal at Goodison and that will be a huge factor in Moyes' approach to the game, although there have been times when the wily Scot has been known to throw all caution to the wind in order to rescue lost causes. In fact, this might be the case once again, unless Everton decides to play a patient game and hope to get the tie into extra time. If the Blue half of Merseyside does pull this off, it would add even more weight to Alex Ferguson's insistence that the English Premier League is currently the most powerful in Europe, if not the world.

UEFA Cup 14/2/2008 - Aberdeen vs Bayern Munich Highlights
Scottish Premier League club Aberdeen acquitted themselves well in the UEFA Cup last 32 on Thursday when they held German giants Bayern Munich to a 2-2 draw and could well have won the game themselves if not for a lack of experience and naivety, and of course, an incompetent referee. Watch the match highlights and you would realise that they more than made up the numbers and while Aberdeen's hopes of making the next round has dimmed considerably given the two away goals they conceded, if they played with the same amount of passion and pride in the return leg at Munich, they would have just as much chance of scoring an upset win over Bayern Munich. Bayern Munich is not the old formidable opponent of old, and it would be great for Scottish football if Aberdeen continued to progress in the UEFA Cup. Enjoy these highlights.

UEFA Cup 13/2/2008 - Brann vs Everton Highlights
So it turned out that Everton more than rose up to the challenge and easily dispatched Brann away in their UEFA Cup soccer match last night and these match highlights would show how comfortable the English Premier League team were despite playing away and without much of a strikeforce despite having Yakubu back and they still needed a young substitute Achinebe to score a second to confirm their (sure) passage into the next round which is the last 16 of the UEFA Cup. The good times are rolling for the men in blue of Liverpool and it would surely rub the salt in if Liverpool proceeds to be booted out of the Champions League after their encounter with Inter Milan, with many saying that Benitez would himself be booted out of Anfield if that happens. Why wait till then? Benitez should have been gone long ago. That said, enjoy these match highlights of Brann vs Everton in the UEFA Cup.

UEFA Cup 13/2/2008 - Glasgow Rangers vs Panathinaikos
Honestly, despite Scottish teams' perennial failure in European competition in modern times, this should be a straightforward live commentary and radio broadcast UEFA Cup soccer match for Glasgow Rangers against Greek side Panathinaikos. While admittedly, Greek sides are quite shrewd and can often produce shocking results against the big names, you can count on the fierce and partisan home fans in Glasgow to roar Rangers to a good result. Rangers has shown great form this season in Europe, only missing out tragically due to late reverses in their last two games. Walter Smith has come back to the club and guided Rangers back to respectability after recent seasons in which they floundered in Celtic's shadows. This season, they have been leaving hated rivals Celtic trailing in their dust and exposing Gordon Strachan's limited managerial abilities. However, it has been a long break since their last European activity so the danger is that they might have lost considerable momentum coming into this match.
Panathinaikos would also be desperate to achieve results in this live commentary and TV telecast UEFA Cup match against Rangers, as they have not managed to maintain previous seasons' European form and go from strength to strength. They would definitely find it tough in the hostile environment that is Glasgow Rangers although European teams are quite well known for blocking everything out in away games and concentrating on their tactics. One worry for Rangers in this live commentary and radio broadcast soccer match in the UEFA Cup would be that they play too much like a Scottish team instead of concentrating on their strengths. While Scottish clubs can be even more forceful and gung ho than English clubs, sometimes they play too much with their hearts and not enough of their brains. Hopefully with Walter Smith's experience at international level, he would be able to get Rangers to play smart and achieve a confidence boosting win in this UEFA Cup match against Panathinaikos.

UEFA Cup 13/2/2008 - Slavia Prague vs Tottenham Hotspur
Tottenham Hotspur's recent revival will continue to be under scrutiny and the spotlight in this live commentary and radio broadcast UEFA Cup soccer match against Slavia Prague. Slavia Prague should provide stiff opposition and a different type of team that Tottenham Hotspur are used to facing in the English Premier League, but one thing in favour of Spurs would be their manager Juande Ramos, who has shown with Sevilla that he is a class act in Europe by steering them to successive UEFA Cup triumphs in recent seasons. In fact, Juande Ramos has solidified his reputation by turning Tottenham's season around and leading them to the Carling Cup final while in recent games have shown better defensive solidarity at the back while continuing to flourish in attack, with Berbatov especially impressing and displaying his importance to the team.
Despite this, Tottenham Hotspur should not get too ahead of themselves and must be wary of their opponents Slavia Prague in this UEFA Cup live commentary and TV telecast soccer game. It is certain that Juande Ramos will not abandon his strategy of playing attacking football to win games but he is certainly smarter and a better manager than Kevin Keegan and builds from a sound defence before unleashing his forward line on opponents. You can be sure he would demand that Spurs go for a win and not concede any goals. In fact, Juande Ramos might be the next big thing after Alex Ferguson, although he has shown a penchant for looking to sign players from his old club Sevilla. If he can guide Tottenham Hotspur to an impressive win against Slavia Prague in this live commentary and radio broadcast soccer game in the UEFA Cup, then you never know, Manchester United might actually try to snap him up as their manager to replace Alex Ferguson in the near future, instead of Carlos Queiroz who had already failed spectacularly at Real Madrid.

UEFA Cup 13/2/2008 - Bolton vs Atletico Madrid
This live commentary and radio broadcast UEFA Cup soccer match between Bolton and Atletico Madrid will provide a real and stiff test for Gary Megson as a manager and determine if the Bolton fans will finally accept him. When Megson was appointed in place of Sammy Lee, most fans immediately objected to it and were very sure that Bolton would continue to slide with his appointment. However, since then, Gary Megson has done a decent job of making Bolton hard to beat again and in fact they look pretty much like their old selves from back in the past under Sam Allardyce. For the most part, Megson has been flattering to deceive. By recalling most of the players under Sam Allardyce back into the team such as Nolan, he practically has the same team, and deployed the same tactics. So it isn't really that Gary Megson is a good manager, he's just not trying to fix something that ain't broke. Bolton should do just enough to secure safety in the English Premier League.
However, they are facing a decent Spanish side in Atletico Madrid in this live commentary and TV telecast UEFA Cup soccer match, and even though Atletico is not exactly setting their own Spanish Primera Liga on fire, they do have the typical European players who might not have the greatest talents, but are canny enough to outfox many British sides. The one thing going for Bolton would be that they are playing at home, and their vociferous fans will cheer them on to put one over their Spanish rivals. Under such circumstances, you could say that Atletico Madrid might just crack and buckle in this live commentary and radio broadcast soccer match in the UEFA Cup, thereby giving Gary Megson a significant achievement in his managerial career and allow him to continue to hoodwink the Bolton management and even perhaps their fans. I'll stick my neck out and say Bolton might actually nick this, although the return leg should be sufficient for Atletico Madrid to turn it around.

UEFA Cup 13/2/2008 - Brann vs Everton
Everton comes into this live commentary and radio broadcast UEFA Cup soccer match between Brann and Everton on the back of a run of good results in their own domestic league the English Premier League, and riding high in fourth spot with the Champions League slot in sight. Everton has even stayed ahead of tough competition from the other chasing English clubs including arch rival Liverpool, Aston Villa and Manchester City. Not only are they doing well domestically, their performances in Europe this season have been exemplary, dominating previous group and knockout stages. Coming into this game against Norwegian side Brann, their main concern would be whether star striker Yakubu would be fielded, after having angered manager David Moyes by not returning back from the African Nations Cup on time, thereby disrespecting his teammates, according to Moyes. Yakubu was then fined and banned from the team for one game, but the question is whether Moyes would continue to leave him out of the game with his other strikers misfiring.
Brann will attempt to cause an upset in this live commentary and TV telecast UEFA Cup game at home against Everton. It is primarily because they would be playing in front of their small but passionate home crowd that will give Brann confidence that they can knock Everton off their lofty perch. Not many soccer fans around the world, except for their own Norwegian fans, would know much about Brann but they are typical of all Norwegian sides - tough and resolute in the face of difficulty. Everton might experience problems trying to score against such opponents, as shown in their other live commentary and radio broadcast soccer games against Brann and other similar teams in the English Premier League. Therefore, it might be hard to call this game, but while Everton should be favourites to sneak a win away on a counter attack strategy which they are actually quite good at, Brann are equally capable of stealing a win themselves against their illustrious opponent but we shall see what will unfold in this game.
