Another controversy ahead of this live commentary English Premier League match between Reading and Tottenham as Steve Coppell suspended two of his better players from the team of which one was the club record signing and it was a move that has shocked many people in football. Credit must go to Steve Coppell for taking such a brave measure before this live soccer match which will be critical to the club's hopes of staying up. If the two players have not been playing well then it might not make any difference. But it would only tell by the result of this game. They have not gotten the necessary results to keep them alive for the past few weeks now and are sinking faster than a rock to the bottom of the league. A lot more effort will be required from them in this live commentary and online TV English Premier League soccer match between Reading and Tottenham if they wish to continue having a third season in the top flight and no more excuses will be had.
They will be well aware of the threat that Juande Ramos' team provides in this live commentary and live streaming radio telecast English Premier League match between Reading and Tottenham as they have incredible power up front and can potentially tear any team apart if they put their minds to it. Players like Berbatov and Keane are able to turn any game with a single touch or strike at goal. Ramos has also taught Spurs how to defend and it will be difficult for Reading to get anything out of this game unless they give more than a hundred per cent and try to break their opponents down with brute force. They also need to keep an eye on the two strikers from the London side in this live commentary and live streaming TV broadcast English Premier League match between Reading and Tottenham as any goal they concede now will break morale and bring on the nerves.

26/4/2008 English Premier League Live - Tottenham vs Bolton
Can Gary Megson continue to create a miracle for his team and lead them to more victories in this live commentary English Premier League match between Tottenham and Bolton when just less than a month ago they look dead and buried and certainties for the drop with their terrible form which saw defeat upon defeat? Now, the team looks all revved up and are playing with resolve and spirit and could actually condemn the likes of Fulham and Birmingham to the drop if they maintain their good form and attain a third win in a row which will see them put further distance between Fulham and themselves and perhaps send the London club down despite whatever result they achieve against Manchester City today. But before all that happens, they must win this live commentary and online TV EPL game between Tottenham and Bolton in what promises to be a difficult match for themselves as well.
Spurs will not be giving any favours on their own home ground in this live commentary and live streaming radio telecast English Premier League match between Tottenham and Bolton or face their own fans' wrath but they will be comforted by the fact that they have done generally well at home and are free scoring. The likes of Dimitar Berbatov will have to be closely watched by Bolton or the sly Bulgarian will be able to open up their defence easily and expose a can of worms of bad defending. In fact, it would likely be a thrashing by the London side as they have greater firepower and can take advantage of weak defending by the visitors and put a couple of goals past them. Bolton might have to resort to some harder play to keep their hosts in check and if they can do that successfully and nullify the threat of Berbatov and Robbie Keane, they will have a great chance of securing a good result in this live commentary and live streaming TV broadcast soccer match between Tottenham and Bolton and accumulate the necessary points for safety, no matter how many people do not like them.

5/4/2008 English Premier League Live - Blackburn Rovers vs Tottenham Hotspur
Last week's humiliating loss at home to Newcastle United must have gotten Juande Ramos seething and he will be demanding for a win in this live commentary and radio broadcast English Premier League match between Blackburn Rovers and Tottenham Hotspur from his team to please him otherwise he will start chopping players from his squad and those that are not good enough to play for him will be asked to leave in the off season. For weeks the Spanish manager has made his threat and it appears that the Spurs players are either not listening to him enough or are really just plain poor, not all of them, but many of them. Pascal Chimbounda should not even be in the club anymore and he is now trying to get his way back into the squad for next season but the guy is an obvious money grubber and should be fired soon to avoid more disciplinary problems in the future.
Mark Hughes has had no such disciplinary problems at his club and will be free to concetrate on this live commentary and TV telecast English Premier League match between Blackburn Rovers and Tottenham Hotspur and instead try to get his star striker McCarthy to play with the same form he displayed last season or he might have to let him go. He has had no such problems with England international David Bentley though, who has gotten himself into another small controversy by suggesting that the recent international friendly against France was a waste of time and it would be interesting to see how Fabio Capello responds to that as certainly it was a good exercise for the England manager to see how the players perform in his various systems before he settles for one. Bentley will first have to concentrate on this live commentary and live streaming radio broadcast English Premier League soccer game between Blackburn Rovers and Tottenham Hotspur and help his team to another win through his deft passes and brilliant crosses which have gotten him to where he is now even though he rejected to stay at Arsenal to fight for trophies. He will have to contend with Dimitar Berbatov for the limelight in this live commentary and live streaming TV telecast EPL match between Blackburn and Spurs though as the Bulgarian might just provide a few moments of magic to the delight of the Spurs fans which would probably gift Robbie Keane with more goals to add to his season's tally.

19/3/2008 English Premier League - Tottenham Hotspur vs Chelsea
While talking about striking from the shadows, Chelsea have actually brought themselves out into the open prior to this live online radio commentary match between Tottenham Hotspur and Chelsea in the English Premier League in their efforts to reach Manchester United and Arsenal in the chase for the title. Chelsea have a strong squad and well balanced to win it again, but the problem lies with manager Avram Grant's poor selections in critical matches, although he seems to have done well enough in every other match where Chelsea is not really in the spotlight. Much of the season's focus has been on Manchester United and Arsenal in their gigantic tussle for top but as the pair have faltered of late, Chelsea has quietly crept up but now they can no longer be ignored and with the pressure now on, will they be able to continue winning the points to make up ground on the leaders? Or will Grant once again fail when the noose starts to tighten?
Spurs are playing out their season and it remains to be seen if they are motivated enough for this live online radio commentary English Premier League match between them and Chelsea. Juande Ramos will cast a keen eye over his charges in an effort to determine which players should remain in his squad for next season, and who to go. Unfortunately, amidst the economic collapse in the US, news of Spurs' chairman's investment loss resulting from Bear Stearns' fire sale has meant that there are doubts cast on the ability of Spurs to spend in the transfer market during the off season. Ramos would have expected to have funds made available in his attempts at strengthening the club and challenge for more honours next season, but the bad news prior to this live online radio commentary match between Tottenham Hotspur and Chelsea would have made for bad preparations. The issue now would be how bad this has really affected the club, despite assurances from the top otherwise, and whether the situation could be bad enough for Ramos to actually consider leaving.
The interesting bit is that Tom Hicks is experiencing a similar problem and might lead to him selling off to DIC, whom we all know do not have the highest regard for Benitez. If that happens, and Benitez leaves, would Ramos be poached by the Anfield club?

16/3/2008 English Premier League - Manchester City vs Tottenham Hotspur
Manchester City has been in dreadful form of late and they are in for another tough match in this live online commentary match against Tottenham Hotspur as they might face a backlash from Spur's exit in the UEFA Cup at the hands of PSV Eindhoven. Certainly, Manchester City has looked nothing like the free flowing outfit at the start of the season where a mercurial Elano and dazzling Martin Petrov held the hoodoo over many a team, especially that of champions Manchester United. Unfortunately, their form has dipped alarmingly and if not for the early gathering of points, they might now be caught in a relegation battle. Sven Goran Eriksson has sounded the first alarm to the management by asking for more funds to build the squad following crucial injuries to key players like Micah Richards, which has left the team short of cover and results have shown. Petrov will also sit out this late Sunday game against Spurs after picking up a suspension and Eriksson will be worried as to who will provide Manchester City's supply line now that the superb crosser of the ball is out.
Spurs endured the same terrible misfortune that befell Everton in the UEFA Cup when they fought their way back into their tie only to fall at the final hurdle of a penalty shoot out. Juande Ramos might now advise some of his players to practise penalties for this live online commentary and radio telecast match between Manchester City and Tottenham Hotspur given how he was criticised for telling his players it was not necessary before the PSV game. However, Ramos is also his own man and it will actually be unthinkable if he was bothered by the media criticism. In his short time since arriving at White Hart Lane, he has transformed an underachieving club to potential world beaters and provided he reinforces the squad in the post season, there might be a possibility that Spurs will be a challenger in the EPL next season. Before that, they have the more immediate task of this live online commentary and radio telecast match between Manchester City and Tottenham Hotspur to deal with and Ramos will be looking for his players to put their disappointment behind and heap the pressure on Manchester City by extending their dismal run of form.

12/3/2008 - PSV Eindhoven vs Tottenham Hotspur 2nd Leg UEFA Cup
Juande Ramos has more than winning the UEFA Cup on his mind when Tottenham Hotspur faces off with PSV Eindhoven in this live online commentary match in this second leg meeting between the two sides, as he hopes to find out even more what his team lacks in order to progress to the next level of challenging more consistently at home for honours, and not rely solely on cup competitions for glory. Ironically, Ramos has molded his managerial career and reputation from a series of Cup success although when he left Sevilla, they had a short history of challenging for the Spanish Primera Liga title with Real Madrid and Barcelona. Ramos has since moved to England with Spurs and is determined not to be labelled a one trick pony and has dealt a largely ruthless hand on a squad which he deemed unfit and indisciplined when he arrived. After months of culling and sweeping the broom, a more tactically sound and fitter Spurs team has since left Chelsea trailing in its wake on the way to winning the Carling Cup, but let themselves down severely by losing the first leg of this UEFA Cup meeting with PSV at White Hart Lane.
PSV Eindhoven more than held their own in the first leg and will be confident of finishing the task at hand in this live online commentary UEFA Cup match between them and Tottenham Hotspur. One player who stood out was Farfan who tormented Spurs all night and added insult to injury by scoring the decisive winner. With an away goal in the bag, PSV can make certain of progress to the next round by adding at least one more goal to their tally in this game given their defensive strength. However, Spurs are nothing if not unpredictable despite having seen more stability under Ramos. If they were to score one goal at PSV, it might start to send the shivers down PSV's spine as they know that were Tottenham to win the game by a single goal, they would be in prime position to snatch the tie away from them. What PSV needs to do is to put Tottenham under consistent pressure as the London team's defence is not perfect and has been known to still crack under pressure despite Ramos' best efforts in shoring up the backline since his arrival. In fact, this live online commentary game might have a different result than that of the first leg in terms of the number of goals, which would be a treat for football fans.

UEFA Cup 13/2/2008 - Slavia Prague vs Tottenham Hotspur
Tottenham Hotspur's recent revival will continue to be under scrutiny and the spotlight in this live commentary and radio broadcast UEFA Cup soccer match against Slavia Prague. Slavia Prague should provide stiff opposition and a different type of team that Tottenham Hotspur are used to facing in the English Premier League, but one thing in favour of Spurs would be their manager Juande Ramos, who has shown with Sevilla that he is a class act in Europe by steering them to successive UEFA Cup triumphs in recent seasons. In fact, Juande Ramos has solidified his reputation by turning Tottenham's season around and leading them to the Carling Cup final while in recent games have shown better defensive solidarity at the back while continuing to flourish in attack, with Berbatov especially impressing and displaying his importance to the team.
Despite this, Tottenham Hotspur should not get too ahead of themselves and must be wary of their opponents Slavia Prague in this UEFA Cup live commentary and TV telecast soccer game. It is certain that Juande Ramos will not abandon his strategy of playing attacking football to win games but he is certainly smarter and a better manager than Kevin Keegan and builds from a sound defence before unleashing his forward line on opponents. You can be sure he would demand that Spurs go for a win and not concede any goals. In fact, Juande Ramos might be the next big thing after Alex Ferguson, although he has shown a penchant for looking to sign players from his old club Sevilla. If he can guide Tottenham Hotspur to an impressive win against Slavia Prague in this live commentary and radio broadcast soccer game in the UEFA Cup, then you never know, Manchester United might actually try to snap him up as their manager to replace Alex Ferguson in the near future, instead of Carlos Queiroz who had already failed spectacularly at Real Madrid.

EPL 9/2/2008 - Derby vs Tottenham Hotspur
Listening to Paul Jewell, you would think that he is just hanging around to collect his monthly paychecks and this live commentary and play by play English Premier League soccer match between his team Derby and Tottenham Hotspur is a foregone conclusion. A foregone conclusion of Derby losing once again and another giant step to relegation. There is an air of resignation around Paul Jewell pre and post match every week and despite some astute signings, Derby continues to lose. They did seem to improve in their last two games but continue to struggle to score and get any useful points. The injury list is also growing and that would not help Paul Jewell one bit as he tries to prepare for this live commentary and TV telecast EPL soccer match against a hot Spurs team. It is likely that they really do need to give up on this season, and look forward to building momentum for next season when they should be back playing the likes of Charlton Athletic in the English Championship. Their January signings should also help with another promotional push.
Tottenham Hotspur on the other hand continue to be red hot and their players look on top form for this live commentary and radio broadcast English Premier League soccer match against rivals Derby. Tom Huddlestone was a revelation for England, while Jermaine Jenas continues to impress as well. Juande Ramos has really whipped the team into shape and even Berbatov has been keeping his mouth shut more often. One disappointment though for Spurs and their fans is that money grubber Pascal Chimbounda continues to be with the team and due to his ability, still gets to play. He did well last week against Manchester United but you know he is only playing for the shop window. It should not be long before Spurs revolutionise themselves as a title contender next season, as Ramos has a plan and he will do everything he can to turn Spurs in the English Sevilla. The team has the potential to do that with all the best English attacking talent they have and if FIFA gets their way and implement a foreigner quota system, you can bet that Spurs might actually be the team leading the way.
This live commentary and TV telecast EPL soccer match between Derby and Tottenham Hotspur is a clear walkover for the away team. In the past you might expect Spurs to choke and lose by three or four goals in the same situation, but not now and you can expect the opposite as they will overcome Derby with ease and take all three points. Nothing less than a win will do for Juande Ramos and Spurs in this live commentary and radio broadcast English Premier League soccer match against Derby, and they will get nothing less than that. Look for Berbatov to score another hat trick perhaps, and Jermaine Jenas and Huddlestone to run the show in midfield as they overcome the terrier threat of Robbie Savage and lead their team to victory.

EPL 2/2/2008 - Tottenham Hotspur vs Manchester United
Once again, Manchester United staged a lucky escape against Tottenham Hotspur at White Hart Lane last night if you see these match highlights. The referee did his part and assisted Manchester United greatly by allowing the corner to be taken when time has gone out. It was way past three minutes when Carlos Tevez scored his goal and it should never have been allowed to stand or happen. Unfortunately, Manchester United has an iron grip over the English Premier League authorities and the rest of the league suffers. This has happened for years and years, while Ferguson continues to accuse the rest of the league to round up against them. But as you see from these match highlights between Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester United at White Hart Lane, it should be the other way round.

EPL 2/2/2008 - Tottenham Hotspur vs Manchester United
The only thing in favour of Tottenham Hotspur in this live commentary and play by play soccer match against Manchester United in this English Premier League clash is that they are playing at home at White Hart Lane, the same place where they totally crushed one time league leaders Arsenal comprehensively in a 5-1 dominant win. Other than that, there is simply no reason to see beyond a comprehensive win for Manchester United instead, as they have rolled to 27 points out of a possible 30 and look virtually unstoppable since Ronaldo plays in every game unlike Fernando Torres who only gets to play when Benitez has had enough of stroking his ego for a break. Ronaldo looks likely to score in every game and every time he goes forward and even now he is starting to score from long range shots and free kicks which he used to score rugby drop kicks from instead. With such a powerful weapon in their team, not to mention the other two ugly brutes they have in Carlos Tevez and Rooney the Bully, it is hard to see any other team other than Manchester United winning the English Premier League this season.
Tottenham Hotspur on the other hand look set to field some of their new acquisitions tonight in this live commentary and radio broadcast soccer match in the English Premier League against Manchester United which might be a mistake. Alan "Who?" Hutton might be making his debut and no offence to the guy but he is Scottish and not anywhere near proven enough and he might be torn to shreds by the Manchester United team tonight and his confidence left in tatters if Juande Ramos is not careful. Just look at what happened to Skrtel at Liverpool - run inside out by a bunch of part timers and he looks set to be sold at the end of the season. Another dodgy buy by Rafa Benitez and further proof that not only are the American owners not right for Liverpool, the manager himself is not the right choice either. Ramos might be a different breed since he has managed to lead a ragtag bunch of losers to a Carling Cup final but tonight might see him get his first win over Manchester United in his career as well if he gets things right again although honestly it looks unlikely.
So it looks like this live commentary and TV telecast soccer match in the English Premier League between Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester United will see another easy win for Manchester United with such a powerful strikeforce. There should also be another few goals to savour from both sides as this fixture has traditionally seen a goal rush especially that amazing 5-4 win Manchester United had a few seasons back when they looked dead and buried but which in the end was another show of what a bunch of losers Spurs has been collecting over the many years, something which Juande Ramos looks set to change in time to come. Despite that, it should be another clear and powerful win for Manchester United in this live commentary and radio broadcast game in the English Premier League against Tottenham Hotspur as they stroll to another EPL title.

EPL 30/1/2008 - Everton vs Tottenham Hotspur
Everton will suffer greatly in this live commentary and play by play soccer match in the English Premier League against fast rising team Tottenham Hotspur as they will be without many of their regulars and now even key player Australian Tim Cahill will be missing and David Moyes struggles to field a full team. Gravesen is also out and Leon Osman might be too, so that means most of Everton's tigerish midfield dynamo engine will be gone and that is about as good as the beginning of the end for Everton. In fact, this could signal the end of Everton's season as they are known to crumble after getting to a peak each season, and that peak could surely have been the first leg Carling Cup semi final against Chelsea in which they played well but lost 2-1 and then went on to surrender meekly to Chelsea again at home 1-0 in the second leg. While they are now left to chase for the fourth Champions League slot in the EPL, and sit in prime position, it might be safe to say they won't be there much longer and tonight will see the first of a long beaten run from the Evertonians.
Why that would be is also because of their opponent tonight Tottenham Hotspur who are hot and are only losing to Manchester United nowadays and are they benefitting from Juande Ramos' magic touch in this live commentary and radio broadcast soccer match? Ramos brought Sevilla to the forefront of Spanish soccer and look how they are faltering now without him. He has brought fitness and discipline to a troubled Spurs side and if they can get rid of the money grubber Pascal Chimbounda, they should have a great side raring to do even more in the English Premier League. This season might have come too soon for Ramos, with the Carling Cup their best bet for some honours, but they might challenge for Champions League qualification next season. But with Woodgate in their side, that might be a problem because if you depend too much on that moneygrubber you will get into trouble as he will get injured at crucial times and miss out for long periods.
This live commentary and TV telecast English Premier League soccer match between Everton and Tottenham Hotspur should see many goals, as Everton will miss their strong regulars and so defensively might be open to attack by Spurs and Spurs will continue to pour forward in a manner only Ramos knows. In fact, if Newcastle wanted a real attacking football messiah they should have signed Ramos as manager not that false prophet Kevin Keegan. Therefore expect many goals in this live commentary and radio broadcast soccer match and nothing else, and perhaps an overwhelming Spurs victory.

FA Cup 27/1/2008 - Manchester United vs Tottenham Hotspur Match Highlights
So Tottenham Hotspur went away with a 3-1 loss against Manchester United in the FA Cup but they more than matched the Red Devils and you would be lying if you said that Manchester United were far superior in fact if not for Jenas missing that golden chance when the score was 1-1, Spurs might have gone on to win it or get a decent result from this FA Cup game. 3-1 was a flattering scoreline to Manchester United but at the end of the day they won so that is all that matters. Enjoy the highlights.

FA Cup 27/1/2008 - Manchester United vs Tottenham Hotspur
This will be an amazing live commentary and play by play soccer match between two English Premier League giants on a roll when Manchester United hosts Carling Cup finalist Tottenham Hotspur at Old Trafford in this monumentous English FA Cup clash. Manchester United as everyone already knows is on a roll by brushing aside practically every side that stands in their path on the way to another English Premier League title, even when they do not play well they have the magical feet of Ronaldo, Tevez and the brutish bullying of Rooney to bring them results, at times even when Rio Ferdinand messes up as usual. Ferguson their bully of a manager is also up to his old tricks of mentally crushing his opponents before each match, and has also grown to be a really bad loser even at his age and having been bestowed a sir to his name by the Queen of England he still shows vulgar signs to fans. You would have thought with his time and age in the game it would not affect him. Still, the Manchester United juggernaut rolls on and you would not expect any team, even Arsenal and Chelsea, to be able to stop them.
Tottenham Hotspur, however, seem to be on a real revival under Juane Ramos with recent results they have even thrashed a brilliant Arsenal team this past midweek in the Carling Cup semi final and they will be raring to go again in this live commentary and radio broadcast FA Cup match at Old Trafford. Ramos has brought a new level of fitness, dedication and discipline to the unbridled attacking talents he has in the Spurs team, and molded a strong fighting unit despite publicly making known his intentions to let go of many players. One player that should not be in the team any longer would be Pascal Chimbounda the money grubber who told friends that he was only in it for the money and wanted to move to Newcastle even though he could get to play in the Carling Cup final and win a medal. If I were Kevin Keegan, I would not sign him.
Despite having a good run and probably fielding his best team, I would not expect Juande Ramos to be able to get a result out of this live commentary and radio broadcast FA Cup match against Manchester United. They might score a few goals against a weak Manchester United backline where if Vidic does not play you might expect it to become leaky but we will never know what kind of team Ferguson would field in cup competitions outside of the Champions League. Regardless, it should be another win for Manchester United in this live commentary and TV telecast FA Cup soccer match against Tottenham Hotspur but despite this, Spurs should walk away with their heads held high for what they have managed to overcome this season.

Carling Cup 22/1/2008 - Tottenham Hotspur vs Arsenal
And so these two arch rivals meet again the fourth time in 2 seasons in this Carling Cup competition and also at the same time, all in a live commentary and play by play soccer match between North London derby rivals Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal. The first meeting in this year's Carling Cup was the first leg of this semi final at the Emirates Stadium about two weeks ago, when plucky Spurs did well to lead for most of the game before Arsenal's Theo Walcott snatched a fortuitous equaliser near the end of the game, a goal which bounced off him unknowingly into the net and which frustrated both Spurs manager Juande Ramos and the whole team. Credit to Spurs, they played well enough to have won but instead had to settle for the draw which might help in this return leg at their own ground of White Hart Lane. But what was even more important was that it was the first time in many meetings between the two sides that Spurs was not comprehensively played off the park. Berbatov led the line well, while the defence stood their ground before a stroke of good fortune enabled the Gunners to get away with a result.
Arsenal on the other hand were in the throes of a below average run when they met Spurs in the first leg. Since then, they have slowly climbed out of a rut, strangely also at a time when they have been beset by injury problems and key players missing due to international commitment in the African Nations Cup. Over the weekend, they practically played Fulham off their own ground at Craven Cottage, and was unfortunate not to have scored more than the three goals. This was after manager Arsene Wenger had been furious the week before and berated his team for getting complacent and too big for their boots. The young Gunners team then got down to business and ate humble pie and got their reward when they seemed to play again with flair and determination. They will need more of the same in this crucial live commentary and radio broadcast Carling Cup semi final against their hated North London rival Tottenham Hotspur, as Spurs stand between them and a return date for the Carling Cup finals, which the Gunners reached last season but lost to Chelsea at the last hurdle.
It is foreseen that this Carling Cup semi final second leg soccer match will see a hotly contested and full blooded clash between Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal, and with the live commentary and TV telecast of this first major soccer match of the English soccer calendar, there should be goals aplenty forthcoming. It would be a delightful treat for soccer fans all over the world if it ends up a repeat of last season's meeting at the same stage, when Arsenal came from two goals down to draw 2-2 with Spurs and went through to the final at their expense. With both teams seeming to peak at the right time, you never know what might happen. Will Spurs achieve their first derby win for god knows how many matches, or will the young Arsenal team again have the hoodoo over Spurs and ride to further glory on their coattails, which would break many Spurs fans' hearts that's for sure.

EPL 19/1/2008 - Tottenham Hotspur vs Sunderland
Sunderland won last week to offer their fans some hope, but this will be all but wiped out tonight in this live commentary and play by play game between English Premier League sides Tottenham Hotspur and Sunderland. Sunderland can do all they can to spoil the flow tonight with Roy Keane's usual tactics but you can be sure Spurs prima donna Berbatov will pull something out of his bag of tricks and Robbie Keane to provide the finishing touches. Tom Huddlestone will also return to the team and he has showed some nice touches as well as a couple of goals. This looks like a foregone conclusion with Sunderland not having a glimmer of a hope against one of the best attacking sides in the English Premier League.
But you never know what such a live commentary match might offer Sunderland. If they can exploit and take advantage of Spurs' habitual momentary lapses of concentration, they might be able to score a couple and pull off an upset result like a draw or even better a win. But that is only if they can put players in position to score - unfortunately they do not have many players of that calibre but maybe Kieran Richardson can. Or they can secretly hope that Ramos gives Paul Robinson a reprieve and plays him a goal, so he can let in a goal or two for Sunderland's sake but Ramos is not dumb he would not risk his career for that.
That said, Sunderland is a team built to destroy and spoil the opponent's flow, so I actually do not expect too many goals in this game, probably just hitting the total or going under. It might not make for a pretty live commentary or live tv telecast of a football game but Sunderland is only looking to survive in the EPL and not trying to make a name for themselves as a pretty team to watch so damage limitation will be the order of the day and for football fans in general.

FA Cup 15/1/2008 - Reading vs Tottenham Hotspur
Another mouth-watering live commentary and play by play awaits us tonight in the FA Cup match between Reading and Tottenham Hotspur at the Madejski Stadium. While the two sides fought to a 2-2 draw in the first meeting, this game promises to provide even more fireworks as the home side Reading seeks to avenge their 6-4 thrashing at the hands of Spurs in the English Premier League (EPL) a few weeks ago. This is the third meeting between Reading and Spurs in about a month and all matches have seen goals, no doubt this one will too but Reading has tightened up their backline quite a bit and so has Spurs with the return of their defensive lynchpin Ledley King. Coppell has also shaken up his first team players after that horrible 6-4 reverse by leaving them out of the FA Cup game and hopefully that has woken them up. Reading needs their players to play hard and tight to have a better chance of staying in the EPL in a more comfortable manner instead of being dragged into the relegation battle. Meanwhile, Juande Ramos seems to be slowing getting results for his methods and while Spurs have continued scoring goals, they are also leaking less although concentration levels at the back still fail them from time to time. The only sore point would seem to be the number of players Ramos wants out of the club but until he gets new and better players in, he has to make do with the likes of Lee Young Pyo and Chimbonda, not to mention Younnes Kaboul who is a right joke of a player. You wonder what the Spurs management were thinking when they bought this guy without consulting Martin Jol and that is assuming Jol was not involved since most of Spurs' transfer movements seem to be headed that way.
While we await the action to unfold in the live commentary and radio broadcast of this FA Cup game between Reading and Tottenham Hotspur, take note that this is one of three FA Cup games tonight to feature Premier League sides, the other two being Liverpool vs Luton Town and another one involving Derby whom we aren't that interested in since they are still struggling under Paul Jewell. Hopefully that game doesn't turn out to be action packed like the first time those two sides met, and the action comes in the live telecast of Reading and Tottenham Hotspur instead.

Highlights EPL 12/1/2008 - Chelsea vs Tottenham Hotspur
In case you missed our live commentary and play by play of the EPL 12/1/2008 match between Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur, here are the soccer game highlights to the meeting. Chelsea made it look really easy and do not believe anything you read of how dreary they were by some Soccernet writer he obviously has a beef with Chelsea and doesn't know how to write. Chelsea were anything but boring and if not for some wayward crossing, might have scored a lot more against Spurs. As for Spurs they were never in control of the game. Chelsea let them pass the ball around a little but never made much inroads into the Blues penalty box. When Chelsea got the ball back each time, they attacked with pace and made Spurs look uncomfortable each time. Juande Ramos has a tough task on hand and despite warning a few players that they are on sale and have no future in the club, it showed how much resources Spurs have when these players all played in the game - Chimbonda, and Lee for example. Berbatov was a non-entity and it showed how good a Chelsea reserve team was. But the truth is, they do not really have that many players out. Just the 'spine' of the team which they have enough replacements for.
Shaun Wright Phillips looks to be improving with each match as Avram Grant shows his man management skills. Grant seems to be bringing out the best of players whom Mourinho resigned to the sidelines but it could also partly be due to the fact that Grant allows them to play in their natural positions and roles. However, they sacrifices a bit of the defensive solidarity but these players have been schooled in the Mourinho way so they still tackle back and help in defending. Expect to see more of Chelsea with each round - I suspect they could be the main challengers to Manchester United now that the Arsenal kids are believing in their own hype and taking teams too lightly. Enjoy the soccer highlights of the EPL 12/1/2008 game between Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur.

EPL 12/1/2008 - Chelsea vs Tottenham
As always, the soccer calendar loves to throw up boring sequences of games, and this continues with another live commentary of Chelsea vs Tottenham in the English Premier League (EPL). Not that it would definitely be boring, seeing as how both of them can't seem to defend at the moment (but for very different reasons), which would mean lots of goals. But if you have seen Avram Grant's or Juande Ramos' mugs during and after games, they're no Jose Mourinho. They're Boring as hell. Ramos might be a little animated on the side during games as most manager would be, but Grant stands like a giant monolith watching over his herd but seemingly in a persistent grouch as he ponders how to spend his billions pandering to Abramovich's tastes.
If there were to be a live radio commentary of this game or play by play, be assured that we will do our best to brighten the proceedings. You would not need to see both managers over the Internet, you just need to know what's going on on the pitch, and we will bring the live action to you as each play goes by. It is highly doubtful that Spurs can repeat their strong showing from the midweek Carling Cup semi final, but you never know with this team. With the mediocre players (as decreed by Berbatov, not us) out of the team, who knows, perhaps Berbatov can bring Spurs to greater glories from now on. Not likely you say? Then you aren't a believer and definitely not a Spurs fan.
Chelsea themselves continue to surprise despite mounting injuries, suspensions and players preferring to play for their countries despite getting paid obscene amounts of money by their club owners. They scrape through games, squeak out wins and might actually be the one serious contender to Manchester United's throne, not Arsenal. In fact, it might be a fairytale in the making if they silently get by both teams on the EPL summit and win it for Jose Mourinho. Except that the Special One isn't around any longer and it is the Grumpy One. We will find out more after the exclusive live commentary or live play by play of Chelsea vs Tottenham.

Carling Cup 9/1/2008 - Arsenal vs Tottenham Hotspur - Highlights
Well the live commentary and telecast of the Carling Cup semi final between Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur was amazing. Now for the soccer highlights. It is always a pleasure watching the hot-blooded passion on show by the two sets of fans and you rarely get any trouble. I guess Arsenal fans must really be the most peace loving lot ever. It's quite understandable when your team is named after someone's butt.
And perhaps being called names gives you the benefit of the doubt when it comes to Lady Luck. Strangely Arsenal could not score against a team like Spurs but maybe it's due to someone missing between the sticks for Spurs. Ramos must have made the right choice but if I were a Spurs fan I would be worried that our manager might allow himself to be held ransom by an obvious prima donna of a player in Berbatov. News reports have surfaced that Berbatov has demanded that players like Darren Bent, Defoe and Robinson be gotten rid of because he feels they are not good enough to play with him. Oh and guess what? Ramos decided to relent and is following orders from the star player. He might have to buy a totally new team but which established quality player would want to come to Spurs?
At the end of the day it had to come to a lucky goal for Arsenal to force a draw. It arrived when Walcott contrived to let the ball bounce off him into the goal. It showed how much of a future England has in its youth. He came up trumps when required and Fabio Capello should keep an eye on this speedy youngster. A real gem and diamond in the making. Maybe he could now become a sponsor for Soccer Rag soccer balls.
Ok, it seems like the Carling Cup highlights for Arsenal vs Spurs have not been released but why not feast your eyes on a much better game. Same game actually, just different stadium and year. More goals as well. Feast your eyes on these Carling Cup highlights:
Actual highlights to follow soon when the reels come in. Stay tuned.
