Italian Serie A 16/2/2008 - Juventus vs Roma

This top of the table live commentary and play by play soccer match clash will see Juventus trying to close the gap between themselves and Roma by securing a win and boost their own chances of an automatic Champions League slot by finishing the Italian Serie A season in second place. It would also be a great achievement by a Juventus team that bounced back immediately from their relegation to Italian Serie B almost a year and a half ago due to match fixing. Claudio Ranieri has done well with the resources given to him since taking over from Deschamps as manager and has molded a team that mixes grit and determination well with flair and attacking football. There is actually not much talk about Ranieri's tinkerman approach that he made famous in England perhaps he has mellowed after so many years in the wilderness since leaving Chelsea.

Juventus will be trying to take the game to Roma in this live commentary and radio broadcast Italian Serie A soccer game but Roma has proved to be a strong defensive unit despite being known more favourably for their attractive slick passing game, marshalled well by their playmaker Francesco Totti. The evergreen Totti continues to prosper in the league despite having failed in his career to impress at international level. Roma are way behind Inter Milan in the chase for the Italian Serie A title but they have to concentrate on strengthening their position in second place as Juventus are nipping at their heels and this live commentary and TV telecast soccer game between the two teams will see some fascinating battles as Del Piero, Nedved and Trezeguet will look to break down Roma's defence led by Panucci. In fact, this might be a high scoring draw with Juventus holding the slight edge since they would be determined to prove they're back and roaring in the Italian Serie A.

Italian Serie A 20/1/2008 - Juventus vs Sampdoria

This Italian Serie A game to bring you live commentary and play by play match will definitely bring back memories of back in the days when Sampdoria was one of the leading lights in the Italian league with Gianluca Vialli and Roberto Mancini and tonight they face Juventus at the Delle Api Stadium hoping to cause an upset by bringing Juventus to their knees. Unfortunately, Juventus has adapted to life back in the Italian Serie A after winning promotion from last season when they spent a year in the Italian Serie B due to corruption charges. They are also playing quite attacking flowing football and under the Tinkerman, will have their evergreen attacking force of Nedved, Del Piero and David Trezeguet. You can look forward to scores of goals and attacking football to be featured in this game.

Of course, Sampdoria are no longer the attractive team they used to be, and they have virtually no star players now. I cannot even name you any Sampdoria player of note, partly also due to the fact that Italian Serie A does not get much coverage nowadays. It is surprisingly even for a live commentary and radio broadcast of this Italian Serie A game but because it is Juventus and Sampdoria it can bring back memories of when these two teams fought a bitter game and saw much action and controversy. In fact Gianluca Vialli was to be transferred to Juventus in later years and has since become a legend of the Zebras.

Match Highlights Coppa Italia - Juventus vs Empoli

Now this was a crazy match which I am sure many will look for the complete match highlights and goal highlights for between Juventus and Empoli in the Coppa Italia last night. Trailing 2-1 from the first away leg, Juventus managed to squeak past Empoli at home with an exciting 5-3 win. We can see Nedved's goal and Juventus' second of the night in this video highlight and from what it shows, seems like both teams forgot how to defend but what would have been a nightmare for the managers, would be a delight for us soccer fans.

Juventus Bribery Scandal? Get Real - They Don't Get All The Calls

I cannot remember how long it has been since teams, players and fans all over the world have attributed Juventus' success to bribing referees and the like for results. Every penalty they receive would be the act of corrupted men in black on the take. With money from the Juventus petty cash kitty. Scandalous revelations and a legal punishment in recent years have also set the club backward and tarnished their name further.

However, this should be changed with last night's game against Napoli. Not only did they end up the wrong end of penalty decisions, those decisions made were downright controversial.

So should we start to say Napoli had done a Juventus?

So Juventus have been proven to have paid referees for decisions to go their way during crucial games. But to label them cheats each time they receive a contentious decision in their favour would be scandalous in itself. Referees make mistakes, and sometimes these mistakes lead to teams losing when they cannot afford to.

The fact is that soccer still is filled with boys playing a man's game. They lose, they cry.
