EPL 12/1/2008 - Chelsea vs Tottenham

As always, the soccer calendar loves to throw up boring sequences of games, and this continues with another live commentary of Chelsea vs Tottenham in the English Premier League (EPL). Not that it would definitely be boring, seeing as how both of them can't seem to defend at the moment (but for very different reasons), which would mean lots of goals. But if you have seen Avram Grant's or Juande Ramos' mugs during and after games, they're no Jose Mourinho. They're Boring as hell. Ramos might be a little animated on the side during games as most manager would be, but Grant stands like a giant monolith watching over his herd but seemingly in a persistent grouch as he ponders how to spend his billions pandering to Abramovich's tastes.

If there were to be a live radio commentary of this game or play by play, be assured that we will do our best to brighten the proceedings. You would not need to see both managers over the Internet, you just need to know what's going on on the pitch, and we will bring the live action to you as each play goes by. It is highly doubtful that Spurs can repeat their strong showing from the midweek Carling Cup semi final, but you never know with this team. With the mediocre players (as decreed by Berbatov, not us) out of the team, who knows, perhaps Berbatov can bring Spurs to greater glories from now on. Not likely you say? Then you aren't a believer and definitely not a Spurs fan.

Chelsea themselves continue to surprise despite mounting injuries, suspensions and players preferring to play for their countries despite getting paid obscene amounts of money by their club owners. They scrape through games, squeak out wins and might actually be the one serious contender to Manchester United's throne, not Arsenal. In fact, it might be a fairytale in the making if they silently get by both teams on the EPL summit and win it for Jose Mourinho. Except that the Special One isn't around any longer and it is the Grumpy One. We will find out more after the exclusive live commentary or live play by play of Chelsea vs Tottenham.
