EPL 19/1/2008 - Reading vs Manchester United

Now this will be the easiest ever live commentary and play by play game between English Premier League sides Reading and Manchester United. Notwithstanding the fact that Reading will be at home and have had a fine record against Manchester United there, with Manchester United's recent blazing hot form and single minded focus on winning the EPL title again this season, I foresee a total walkover Reading and perhaps another demolition job on the cards like last week's 6-0 destruction of Newcastle. Perhaps it wouldn't go that far since it is at Reading after all but I have the feeling that it will be by another two or three goals this time.

Reading will be without most of their defenders and on top of the fact they have defended too well recently even with them in the team (although they did well against Spurs recently but it could be the case of familiarity breeds contempt), and they will be facing the likes of players better than Berbatov and Robbie Kean, with Ronaldo and Rooney terrorising every EPL team this season. This spells trouble for Reading but delight for football fans as it could be a goal rush tonight in this live commentary and radio broadcast. But you can never be too sure and there is no such thing as a guarantee in football so we shall see.

Alex Ferguson will expect nothing less than a resounding win to beat back their main challengers for the EPL title tonight and Ronaldo could be in for another double or maybe his second hat trick ever in a Manchester United jersey. But Reading has always been a plucky and enterprising side so the neutrals would definitely be rooting for them, just like I will. Liverpool needs Manchester United to drop some points and matches like this provides that hope. As long as they do their part of the bargain and beat Aston Villa on Monday but they'll probably still be busy sorting out whether Americans or Middle Easterns own the club. This should see Manchester United romping to another easy win over Reading in this live commentary and live telecast game, and go easily over the total for that one team.
