Shocker of the weekend came right after the Tottenham vs Reading FA Cup match, when, during the post-match press conference, Juande Ramos dropped this bomb:
"Who is Hutton?"
This was in response to a reporter's question about Spurs target Alan Hutton of Rangers, who earlier in the week had spurned the English Premier League club's advances.
I'm not so sure if Ramos or past Spurs performances have made it clear to the club management, and specifically Sporting Director Damien Comolli. But the players they (Comolli) have bought are downright awful (other than Berbatov) and are clearly not good enough to cut it in the EPL. It's clearly obvious that they are continuing in the same vein though.
Ramos can only do so much with his tactics and style - give him a team of third rate players and you'll get third rate results no matter what strategies - because the other teams will buy better players.
